I got to the park about 10:00. I got in, and immediately rode Raptor. Then I got a ride on Blue Streak. Then skipped maXair (kinda makes me dizzy), and rode Wicked Twister.
I then proceeded to Millennium Force. As soon as I got in line, the train gets stuck on the lift hill. :( I took a walk down the Frontier Trail and looked at the construction. Then I got my first ride on Skyhawk. I rode it three more times because no one was in line. I then got a quick ride on Mean Streak.
I walked over to Gemini. They were only running the blue side, so that made the wait about 10 minutes. I then got an ejector seat ride on Magnum. My legs hurt for the next two hours. I walked back to the front of the park and got some lunch.
After lunch, I wandered. I got another ride on Magnum, this time in second row. Walked back to check the line for Skyhawk...no way Jose. I just kinda sat there and ate some popcorn while watching it. I walked back and rode Iron Dragon.
Then came Mantis. It should have been a five minute wait. But there was a.....puke failure shall we say. And I waited for front row, which didn't really make the situation any better.
I checked the line for MF, about an hour. Since I didn't have much time left, I skipped it and walked back to Skyhawk. I waited about 25 minutes and got my fifth ride of the day on it.
I got another ride on Mean Streak, another ride on Magnum, another ride on Wicked Twister, and one last ride on Raptor. Before leaving, I filled out a form so I can get my season pass for next year. Bye CP! See you in May!

Dragster was running quite well on Sunday, Saturday I hear was a little shaky towards the end of the day.
I was also there on the 15th....what a great day to go! I rode every coaster in the park except corkscrew, and the only rides I had to wait in at all for were millenium (about 20 minutes), dragster (about 30 minutes), and gemini (about 10 minutes since they were only running the blue train). All the other rides were walk-ons.
At some point in the day we went to ride raptor, but they were also experiencing a puke delay. we had to come back later to ride it. Do people really puke that often on coasters? I've been coming to cedar point for years, but never run into that problem until now...and it seems that both mantis and raptor had a puker in the same day. maybe it was the same person???
My only complaint about the day was one of the haunted houses. In Lair of the Vampire, about 2/3 of the way through, we were in a hallway and about 5 or 6 people in costumes were just hanging out talking. so it was no big suprise that the last 3 or 4 rooms of the haunted house had absolutely nobody in them. quite a dissapointing way to end an otherwise wonderful day at cedar point.
Oh, and do they sell funnel cakes anywhere in the park? I know I've had them there before, and I had a craving for one all day long and I looked everywhere and couldn't find one. I had to settle for an elephant ear. It was ok, but nowhere near as good as a funnel cake.
Can't wait for next year!
You can get funnel cakes at C.J.'s Provisions on the Frontier Trail and at the Corral on the Main Midway.

It would be nice to say it doesn't happen very often, but people get sick all the time. I've seen it all, but I'll spare the details. It's a common thing and really easy to take care of. We clean it up, make sure everything is nice and dry, and then keep things moving as quickly as possible. You'd be surprised at what seemingly little things can cause people to hurl.

I went the second weekend in May with my 51 year old girlfreind. We had ERT and the Raptor was running (bad idea for a first ride). She was ill the rest of the day. I had to "romantically hold her hair" while she puked in some bushes.. I guess the coffee and donuts did not set well.. And they did not look real good coming out either.. Yuck!
I have been going to the park for 30 years and still find that the Raptor is not a good first ride.. Too much head banging for me..
But that is just me..
Every time I go, my first ride is Raptor, and it has never given me a problem. The only ride that gives me a problem is maXair, and I feel better after about 5 mintues...
