October 10-12

So this was our weekend trip to Cedar Point. My day started at school until noon when i left early. Then we waited for an hour for the others in our group to show up. We left close to 2PM, I think. After a Walmart trip and some other stops, it was after 4 when we got to Hotel Breakers. About an hour later, we're checked in and getting stuff unloaded in the room. I ate a sandwich and then went into the park.

5:50 or so, I got to the park and headed for Maxair. It was basically a walk-on. Then I went to Raptor and it was only a train wait. It was good, but a little rough. Also, I rode Iron Dragon and then took some time to relax.

I then went to see Graveyard Shift at 7:30. It was good, but nothing spectacular. I still liked it though. Also, at 8:30, I saw Nights of Darkness. This was a great show.

After the show, I checked Millennium's line. A half hour, not too bad. After waiting and riding, it was 9:45 and everyone was watching Nights of Darkness. I went back in and saw the end of the 9:30 show and the 10:30 show. Again, it was amazing.

Now, it was about 11, a little after. I checked Maverick's line. It was about 45 minutes and the time then was 11:15. I didn't want to wait, so I went to Magnum. It was a walk-up to the stairs, then a few trains' wait. It was good, also kind of rough. Then I headed to the hotel for the night.

Saturday, I woke up at 6, don't know why. I got around, headed to the lobby and got donuts. Later, around 10:15, I went to the beach entrance. For the hour, I went to wait for Dragster. As I was getting in the station, the first train out needed a single rider. I was a single rider. So I got in, and I finally experienced a rollback! It was so crazy! Then, we re-launched and I just strolled around, knowing it would be a busy day. The weather was nice and it was a Saturday.

Later, around 2, I went to wait for Graveyard Shift again. Again, it was good. It was about 3 and I got a text from my mom saying that we were going to have TGI Fridays after the parade. My jeans were uncomfortable, so I headed back to the hotel and switched them out. I also took the time to chill. Later, I get a call telling me to head down to TGI Fridays.

TGI Fridays was not the best choice. We all agreed it was a waste of time. Some of the food that was ordered never got to our table, and some people didn't get food until the rest of us were done. That's the summary of dinner.

After that, I was going to wait for Chris Linn's Magicomedy. Waiting to get in the theatre was a story in itself. It was okay, but some stuff was repeated from last year. Then I headed to the Garter for some more Nights of Darkness shows.

For the 9PM show, I stood by the bar. One guy and I switched spots since he was taller. That was probably one of the highlights of Saturday. For 10PM, I found a table. Again, both performances were great.

Then, I headed towards the front of the park and unsuccessfully tried the ring toss game. I went through a little of Fear Faire, just to the dragon. I'm not one for all the scary stuff. After that, I checked Disaster Transport's line. Looked long, so I skipped it. I decided to get a pair of the devil horns.

Sunday I woke up at 7:30. I made the donut run and we were watching a movie for most of the morning. About 9:25, I went to the park. I rode Iron Dragon and Millennium Force. While I was waiting for Millennium, I saw Single Rider Bob running from the exit. Both were good rides.

Then I took some pictures and took in the atmosphere until 10:30, when I started going back to the hotel to pack up. We got packed in about 15-20 minutes and went to the park. After figuring out a time to leave, I headed back to wait for the Garter to open. About noon, it opened. I got a cup of water and found a table. I saw it at 1:30 and 2:30, at different tables for each show. Again, it was great.

Nights of Darkness Opinion: I really like this show. It's great, I love the songs, and the crowd really gets into it, especially with "Don't Stop Believin'." That song is pretty much sing-along time.

Overall, the trip was good. It may have been better if not for TGI Fridays, but otherwise, it was good.

Nice trip report, I was there Friday and Sunday. We stayed at Hotel Breaks, for the first time.
