October 10!

My family always makes a yearly trip to Halloweekends. It is by far my favorite time at Cedar Point. This time, we had a very large group: Mom, Dad, younger brother, older brother, younger brother's friend, older brother's fiance, fiance's mom and dad, and my girlfriend. whew. This trip was opposite of every trip I have taken to the Point in recent years. No rushing, no marathoning, no arriving early, and we took our time.

Of course, I had to wear my "Kerry Sucks" Tshirt ( www.katscorp.com ) and I received many complements. I noticed there were many a people with Bush/Cheney attire on.

We got on Point at 2:30. Of course, we headed for MillForce and waited 45 min through a breakdown. After that, we walked around the park clockwise and hit pretty much every coaster and went in every shop. Lines were a little longer than what I am used to, about 10-15min for all and 30 min for MILF. We attempted to ride Dragster, which was SBNO most of the day, or should I say SBOO (Standing But Operating Occasionally) and walked out of line after a breakdown. I overheard many people talking about Dragster during the day about how they never get to ride it. They really need to get this thing going... the GP is noticing...

Finally night time came and we hit up most of the haunted attractions except for Werewolf Canyon because of time restraints. We waited for Dragster again, but left the line after another breakdown... I didn't see it run again. Fright Zone proved to be a highlight of the day- it was amazing. Carvevil was also impressive, except I was hoping for actual sideshows.

The best part of the day (and probably most memorable at Cedar Point in about twelve years of memory) was my MilForce ride around 9pm. It was by far the best coaster ride I have ever had. The fog was so thick you couldn't see in the valley of the first hill and the turn going into the tunnel. It was so pitch black that I didn't even know when we were in the tunnel. Amazing. We ran over to Disaster Transport and then to Blue Streak to close out the season just before 10:00. Another great day at Cedar Point!

Glad you enjoyed the Fright Zone. I was just hoping that of your 2.5 cheese-on-a-sticks the other .5 was eaten by someone else and not thrown away. That's cheese-on-a-stick abuse!

Haha no, I ate two of my own and half of my girlfriend's since she couldn't finish it.
