obsession

Hey,
I think im obsessed, and I'm serious.
There is not one day that goes by without me
thinking about or talking about Cedar Point.
My friends are going mad!
That's maybe because they havent been there before.
I sit there in school daily doodling on my binder and Notes Of cedar point jots & such.
I look through my documents of pictures daily
as well.
When my computer turns on, it's the MF song.
I have a cedar point collage and a number
of purchased gifts that are surrounding my room.
Does anyone have a comparable phobia ?
I dont mind it . I've found my passion !!!!
It's the greatest place on earth.

Boy I'll just copy and paste those exact words for my opinion. Everything you said is the same with me!

Try to use more formality in your typing next time, ex: punct, the usage of the whole typing area.
Welcome to the club!!
Yup, I feel the same, and I love it!:)

Same here I think my parents are gonna go crazy! :) Well maybe not but I think they are tired of hearing me talk about CP all day.

It seems you guys are young. I am 34 and people think I need to seek help. I may have to get old, but I will never grow up!
We're here to help you Nelson! :) I don't think obsessed begins to cover it... Certainly not for me!

Im just obessed with coasters..Hello my name is Darla and Im a coaster junkie!! So much so..that me and my husband travel all year long to different amusement parks around the states. My daughter is 11 and i think there is only a few parks or coaster she hasnt rode yet...one being in Vegas...but soon that will change for her!
For those of you who are young,I hope you never let the love of CP leave you. When I was in my teens I had a few CP nuts like myself. WE would talk about CP all the time. Now that we are older I am the only one left that still has the passion for CP. Share the experience with your future family!
Try riding Gemini 100 times in one day. It won't cure your obsession, but you probably wont be talking about CP for about a week. :)

Add another obsessed one to the list, and living in utah people look at you real funny when you start babbling about some theme park in Ohio. I tell people I am going on vacation of course they ask where and I say Sandusky, Ohio, and then want to know why???? idiots i tell you, oh well what can you do. Maybe we should start a twelve step program CPA, CPers Anonymous!
LOL

Hun, this is what we're all about. Po!nter girls are rare, but when we love our park, we really LOVE OUR PARK. :-) Life IS CP to me and the rest of us here.

WE don't need the help the rest of the world does. People think amusement parks are just for kids. CP is the best place to just get away. CP is better then any drug out there! how is that for quote of the moment?
i talk of cp soo much thati talk about every one
pretends to listen and say yeah ok whatever

For me it's exactly the same. I share the same passion with Cedar Point as I do with Disney World (and trust me I AM EXTREMELY OBSESSED with both), some people might say an obsession with anything is unhealthy. But let me tell you, an obsession with an amusement park is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH healthier than some of the things you COULD be obsessed with!

Has anyone else taken it upon themselves to make Cedar Point board games and other kinds of stuff like that to pass time? If not, I haven't either ;) I guess you could say that I am obsessed.

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835
I wish I could have a real, electronic scale model of Cedar Point that I could put little plastic people on the rides...heehee, that'd be cool
Aw, lol, u guys are so fun :)
I love talking here. I've been to C.P. 2 weeks ago and I'm begging my mom to make a new trip plan. God, I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TIME THERE !! geez... I need a season's pass. Even today in the school I made my mountains in Geography "MF m's"
and caught myself humming the commercial.
For my B-day, I got a shirt that says I LOVE MILLENNIUM FORCE. Haha.. I wanna wear it there once, but I'm not sure if people would look at me weird. But anyways, CP FOREVER! Cya in line :)
