thats just it!!! its very tight, a tight fit .I noticed that two . its really not a very confortable ride . you got it.
I'd have to say that Maverick is THE best ride in the park. I never rode WWL but I can't see myself picking it over Maverick

Does anyone post a positive message here? Why can't people just be nice? Someone states their opinion, flamed! Someone doesn't have good typing skills, flamed! What is up with the "challenge every comment" thing at this blog? Can we please have a nice discussion and please stop the insulting others so that we can claim we are on top? Please? Alright, I'm sorry, I did not mean to be mean, but mean people really do suck! Please be nice and show some manners in your posts. Thank you! :)
^I was nice, but what makes PointBuzz a better quality forum from the others is that it is well moderated and people on here generally know how to spell and use those skills learned in English class known as grammar.
Oh yeah, I agree, mean people do suck. I rarely come across anyone actually being mean on here though. If you can't handle being here, no one is forcing you to stay. *** Edited 11/6/2007 3:53:21 AM UTC by Gomez***

And its more interesting if you can debate a subject instead of just accepting everything that is said.

On that note... I'd say Maverick is certainly more than just a "so, so" coaster. That thing really does pack a punch.

If you lean with the elements, then you should be fine. I personaly love Maverick. Definately my top coaster. You have quite a bit of room between the restraints compared to a B&M. It makes leaning with the ride easier.
I get a LOT more headbanging on Raptor than on Maverick. However, I will still ride both.
I noticed the wiggling train vibrations on the back of a Maverick ride once. We never rode in the back again after that experience.
My girlfriend and I describe it as you have to steer in to the turns with the coaster.
I think of it like the movie "Cool Runnings" when they are in the bobsled like "TURN 1, TURN 2" and they all shift directions.
The head banging does suck. But the coasters wildness makes up for it.
My only complaint about Maverick is the restraints also. Besides that Cedar Point finally put in a coaster that makes up for what Millenium Force and Dragster lack in. Millenium Force that lacks in fun and intensity or something to keep me awake while riding. Sorry I just don't understand they hype of this ride. And Dragster in its length. Before Maverick Raptor was my favorite at Cedar Point. Now all Cedar Point needs is a Gravity Group woodie because honestly there is nothing like The Voyage.
The wiggling train vibration in the back is all caused by the bad wheels. Maverick tears up its wheels faster than all the other coasters in the park. Unlike the other Intamin coasters (MF, WT, and TTD) which all have smooth transitions, Maverick doesn't even know what a smooth transition is.

Maybe I shouldn't say Maverick doesn't have smooth transitions, but it just has very fast transitions. For the most part the ride is still very smooth, but vibrations can get bad in the back of the trains at times.
