Is that prefab vertical supports in the back?

Still haven't been able to uncross these circuits...

They assembled some support columns in the Soak City parking lot before they moved them to their permanent location.

Did Western Cruise run clockwise 'round the lagoon back then?

I don’t remember exactly but from the photo I’d say so.
I loved Western Cruise in that location and the station was so cute. I think that era of Cedar Point, with the addition of the Million Dollar Midway, remains one of my favorites.

Is that picture from when the boats actually operated with functioning paddlewheels? That is one of my first memories of the Point.

Promoter of fog.

Best part of Dennis' picture are the two cabins from the Frontier Lift.

I wonder if those particular supports are the ones for the area located on Forbidden Frontier Adventure Island and were transported to the island via the old Dinosaur Alive entrance area.

In the first photo Dennis posted, the amount of changes are truly amazing. I notice a significant island in the center of that lagoon that must have been eliminated or lowered for Iron Dragon.

They built a lot of the structure out in the parking lot and then transported them around Perimeter Road and into the construction site. At the time they had a land bridge built to drive over to the island from about where MF crossed over today. You can see in the pictures section the different support structures pre-built in the Soak City parking lot.
