Arrived around 11:00 in hopes of finding the park empty and riding all 15 coasters (exception of Jr. Gemini) Those hopes were soon shattered. The park wasn't too crowded, but a sign greeted us saying MF would be closed untill mid-day.
Started off over at Demon Drop (8/10) not too bad. My first ride ever on it, it was fun. 25 minute wait.
Next checked over at Blue Streak (10/10) had a 10 minute wait and it was running great, smooth and with lots of air.
Went over to Wicked Twister, got a freeway from 3-4 and took a ride on Disastor Transport (9/10). Wow! The longest line there I've seen, 35 minutes. The new theming is done very well, and makes the ride seem longer and better.
Headed over to Iron Dragon (8/10) seemed to be running faster than last year. On the ride we saw the blue MF train stuck on the final overbank. Scary.
Power Tower (10/10) was next. Space Shot. Great ride as always. Nice and friendly crew.
Headed back to Johnny Rockets to get some lunch. Not bad.
It was 2:30 so we wasted some time on flat rides, Swabichen (7/10) and Ocean Motion (5/10) what was up with OM'S nasty crew?
Used the FreeWay on WT (10/10). A 15 minute wait. The winds were starting and having sand blown in your face for 15 minutes is not fun. Put some concrete down, CP! The ride itself was just great. The back seat was insane and the spikes were swaying so much.
Wildcat was down, so was Gemini and Magnum, Millenium Force. Mantis had too long of a wait.
In all there were lots of bad things that I didn't include, It wasn't a great trip, but still fun. With my highest coaster at 115 feet I wasn't happy. Hopefully the matinenece crew will keep working, it wasn't the best ride operation day, partly because of nasty weather.
