(not) Testing was sucessful

It appears to prove that testing has begun and was sucessful http://www.geocities.com/shadowsofsoldiers/index.html?1048810455164

Dragster Rules!!

Keep in mind that there are kicker wheels from about that point all the way around the turnaround. The could be moving trains back and forth with those or even a crane or something. We'll need to catch a train on the tophat or on its way up or down to "prove" that testing has begun.

If you havn't noticed, that train has been sitting there for a couple of days now.

Actually the yellow train has been moving back and forth from the unload to the load, and that train has been sitting there waiting for something.

Well it went a little past the load, sine the pic on the CP website shows it on the track.

Or not. They've got all the trains on there because moving them around is the most complicated thing the ride does.

I think he's referring to the picture of the guy peeing (look a couple of pages back) on 17 March.

Yes, they were testing!!!...the ability to move the trains forwards and backwards in the station area. That doesn't prove that they launched the trains. According to Monty Jasper they haven't launched a train full circuit.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

Ok, is this, or is this not a train at the apex?

<edit> never mind......looks like it's probably just stairs or something.

You're right with the edited comment...it's just the catwalk at the top.

I have a picture I saved from the webcam that appears to be the yellow/gold train in the brakes....they could've pushed it back there, but maybe, just maybe, it got launched over. If you think about it, they need to get to steppin....lol.

Cp_Rider is there a reason you felt the need to post the same information in two different topics????? Not trying to be mean but thats a good way to have people start yelling at you.

Merchandise - 2003

Just a little comment here but if Robby was trying to prove that they have been doing full circuit tests then he's wrong. They have only been moving the trains up and down the launch and brake tracks but not over the tophat! And no it's not people pushing the trains around it's just the wheels that they have that are hidden inside the track (also look at the times of the webcams). This has been talked about before and is starting to get really old. Until you see a picture of a train on the tophat or hear official word from Cedar Point than stop posting things about testing!

Can't wait to be at the Point!

Actually Cp_Rider i wasn't really reffering to you. And i don't want to just pick on anyone person but it just really gets to me when people keep posting the same information, especially when it's not true!!!

But hey, mistakes are just human, so please don't flame me about getting off of peoples backs.

Can't wait to be at the Point!

wow, what ppl will flip about these days.

I hear ya CP Rider. It seems every other post on this board is someone complaining that some other post is either WRONG, or the info was already posted.

Coaster Kid,

I'm not trying to be mean, but you haven't been here that long and you're acting like you own this place so calm down a little. Also, the kicker wheels don't start until after the brakes, but that doesn't mean they are testing.

I also think that you posted in another topic that you can't stand when people bash other people's posts, so why are you doing it?

Forgetting that happened....anywho

I don't believe there are kicker wheels in the actual brakes midway into the brake run by where it appears close to ID in the webcam....that's where the train was.
