Not a fan

Well, after riding TTD 4 times this year, and once last year, I've officially taken it off my "must do" list. The ride is just WAY to short, not to mention the emotional head-ache it gives me everytime I wait in line. I'm constantly asking myself if it will break down or not. I'm also asking myself why I'm waiting for a 15 second ride with 1 hill! Usually it's because I like the launch and awsome theme, but the 420 foot hill and 120 mph speed doesn't really do it for me. Give me Wicked Twister, or Blue Streak any day. I think these rides have more FUN value.
These are the kind of people I hate. Also the Millennium Force line is like 2 hours and the Dragster is about 30 min to 1 hour. Top Thrill Dragster is on my must do list.

Well, just because you deem it a "must do" doesn't mean he has to. This is the way it seems to be with Dragster - people either love it or despise it. Granted, most people despise it because of the supposed long wait and seemingly never-ending mechanical problems, but I guess some people just aren't thrilled by it. But I do agree with you on that one point - Dragster's wait is rarely longer than Millennium Force's...or Mantis' for that matter

I never got too excited about it when it was being built, and honestly once you get over the gee-whiz factor of its size and speed, it's really not that interesting of a ride, I don't think. I much prefer other rides at the park.

Dragster= 4 Hours of foreplay with a 20 second climax, and most of the time it want’s to take and hour break to make a sandwich or it’s not even in the mood.

It’s a fun ride and it is a great 20 seconds, but not worth the headache most of the time. It’s bad ,when you get in line for any other coaster in the park you expect to ride. When I get in line for dragster I think I only have a slim chance of getting on the ride.

I'd rather spend my time riding Magnum or MF, or heck drive to Kennywood and get on Phantoms Revenge in less than 4 hours ;).

Gemini 100- 6/11/01

I ride it when it's open, but I'm not waiting +1 hour.
While I never got to ride the ride on my two days at CP, on my next trip it will be a must hit. With the three exit passes I have for it, perhaps I'll go for three in a row!

with all of you down talking the TTd, it's no wonder I've never had to wait more than an hour to ride it :)

I can see where you are coming from but I personally like the fact it is so short. Short and sweet! :)

Yeah it's short, but it's not that sweet. I'd rather ride MF or Raptor before i would ride TTD. Just because those 2 rides are better overall in a ton of ways.

I waited 18 years for sex and it was over in...well, we don't talk about how long it lasted, but I keep coming back for more!

Yea Dragsters launch is pure bliss...but i personally think the drop isn't that good. It's way too short, and the twist is neat, but it's not scary and you don't lose your tomach like on MF.

MF will ALWAYS be the best.

The ride is short, i agree, BUT ITS AWESOME. The speed is amazing! I rode it at night, after waiting 2.5 hours. (Sign in front estimated 4 hours) and I think it was worth it. Keep in mind it was the 3rd week it was open. Real dragster races last 4.5 seconds, compare that to 15.
I agree the ride is AWESOME. It is alot better than millennium. I don't come off millennium with the WOW factor anymore. Dragster blows me away though. Nothing is like it. Its so short that I cant get enough of it. I don't care how many times it will break down. I'm not even really a patient person but the time always seesm to go fast in line.

I couldn't have said it better myself!

I agree with, TopThrill420, I'll ride it if the lines short, but I'm not going to wait over an hour for the ride. Not that I'm picky, it's just I'd rather ride other rides that have a more lasting impression on me.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Just like Magnum was ALWAYS gonna be best, right? :)

I can not find a more intense, heart-thumping experience at Cedar Point than Top Thrill Dragster. Is it the best roller coaster out there? No. But is it the most intense and thrilling ride out there? IMO, definitely. I choose that insane launch over a great coaster ride any day...call me crazy but that's what I like. The beauty of Cedar Point is that we can enjoy the crazy insane with the lovely coaster rides all day!

I don't even think the Dragster is that pleasant to look at, especially from it's side views. I agree with others in the fact that there are other rides in the park I'd pick over TTD. Sorry fans, but with all the headaches this ride causes, the "thrill" just isn't worth it.

The Amazement Park

Riding Dragster was probably one of the most intense experiences of my life.

But, it isn't even in my personal top 10 of rollercoasters. It is quite a ride but it isn't much of a coaster...if that makes sense.
