Forgive me if this is not in the correct section, but my son is 15 and we understand that the minimum age to operate a jet ski rented from North Coast is 16, but do they really care? After it is rented, is it possible to just switch the driver or do they watch you?
Do you feel there is some reason that you should be exempt from the rules?

Are you sure it is your son and not you who is 15?

Not sure what your problem is, I was wondering if anybody had personal experiences with this. Some companies or employees are lax with things like this. And to the other guy, yes, I'm not sure why you felt the need to leave a rude and sarcastic answer.
Do you know what else is rude? Coming here and asking if you can get away with breaking the rules.
People get away with speeding, even reckless driving all the time. That doesn't make it acceptable, that doesn't mean you should even think of attempting it.
If you can't play by the rules, go somewhere you get to make up your own. Respect others' rules.
Hmm. Still was just wondering if the company or employees were lax or would allow it via personal experiences of others.
Rules are rules. This is like asking if you can buy alcohol when you're still 20.

Do you also ask if police officers are lax in traffic enforcement so you know when you have a good chance of getting away with breaking the rules?
If they were lax, they would be fired.

Some companies are lax and allow exceptions. I am asking to see if anybody had experiences. Anybody?
Companies are not lax, they do not allow exceptions for things like this.
Individual employees who do not have the integrity to uphold the rules, as required by their employment agreements, might. That does not mean that one should intentionally attempt to exploit this.
That's exactly what you want to do. That's morally bankrupt thinking right there.
You know the rule. You know that you don't qualify. You want to violate the rule.
Last year, I was on Skyscraper, paid once, and after the ride was over, asked if I would get another ride since it was nighttime and nobody else was around. They gave me another ride for free. That is called an exception. Stop arguing about something so petty. I am looking to see if anybody had an experience like that.
Each post you make gives me more reason to believe you are the one who is 15. No sensible parent would try to get a company to bend their safety rules. The rules are in place for a good reason. It might actually be a law. If something bad were to happen, Cedar Point could get in big trouble.
And comparing this to getting another ride on Skyscraper? That's an apples to oranges comparison.

So, you want someone to confide in you that they got away with breaking the rules so you don't feel so bad about yourself?
For all you know, it's a liability, insurance, or legal reason for the rule.
