NO POSITIONS?!?

I turned in my application a few weeks ago and I've called back for phone interview. NOW. The first few days I called they kept telling me to call another day. Now that I get through, almost every department has no positions! I really want to work at the point and this is like a major dissappointment. Anyone have any ideas on getting a job.

Just don't give up -- they're lying, sort of. A lot of people will not show up for their contracts, even though they returned them and everything. They just won't be there. A lot more people will quit in less than a week, because it isn't just a summer vacation where you get a paycheck. All I can suggest is to keep calling, and just try to take anything if you really want to work there. Something will break loose!

Exactly. Don't give up. A lot of people change their minds and don't process in as scheduled or quit within the first week. Foods usually needs people really bad because a lot of people show up and beg for transfers into different areas or departments.
