"Have you ever looked down towards the ground on MF's lift at night? Those are some really blinding lights!"
Which part of "the internal mechanism is the same one found in a variety of their stage lights" wasn't clear? Besides, by the time you can see them directly, you're further away than someone on stage would be to the lights (which are often down stage along the edge).

Whatever lighting they pick...One spiral should be lit..and the other one shouldnt be and dark..to get the two different affects.  Dont know how this would be done,,,or how it would look..but I think thats a start..

Jeff, I was responding to Zero-G when he said that they weren't blinding...with that said, both stage lights and the light on MF are blinding. When performing on-stage though, that's not necessarily a bad thing...crowds can be intimidating. :)

IMO the should strobe the whole thing at night.

I was thinking that they could do something like that also...they could set the strobe to the forward LIM's like on Flight of Fear.

I won't be impressed with a strobe unless they put a color cycle on it. Teenagers have plain ol' strobe lights in their rooms. Not very impressive on a coaster if you ask me.

The "strobe" is actually the on ride photo flash.

You guys remember the vektron cam? Here's my theory... www.vektron.com they're affiliated with a lighting company. Just speculation though!
