For what it is worth, I drove past Geauga Lake today and did not see any track laying around at all. I am sure this means that the track at CP is really going to GL. Why else would there be no track at Geauga Lake?

Because Geauga Lake is not getting a new coaster untill 2008 or so. 2007 there going to do something on the former site of hydes.

But it could be track for GL

Of course I am not serious, but I do find it funny that many of the posts sound just like that.

Geauga Lake isn't getting a coaster for a long time, past 2008. Plus, why would they be planting grass and tress in an area that they're just gonna raze and rebuild next year? Your post is full of contradictions.

Coasterfan is right; to make the area look nice. With an amusement park's budget, planting a little grass for a year isn't a big deal, yet it makes a big difference to the people visiting the park. This is not an uncommon thing for parks at all.
