cpfanactic, you're missing the point.
There have been far too many painfully moronic ideas lately, like:
Of course most here don't know what this ride will be, but that doesn't mean that any of the above aren't stupid comments. Common sense seems to have flown out of the window around here lately. I wish CP would reveal this thing already, if only to stem the tide of idiocy.

cpfan - You don't have to know what it is to be able to tell which posts are asinine. Or to realize that its the same people saying the same crap over and over.
TaW - That would be pretty sweet. I'm a little skeptical of CP building a mountain, just because of their previous endeavors with theming. However, I could see a mountain that doesn't have much theming to it being a good piece. It would definitely make this an interesting coaster.

It would do wonders for the family-friendliness of the ride. Some of my best memories of PKI were of Adventure Express.

Every day I come to this site, I'm baffled by the insanity that people type and submit to this forum. I'm dumbfounded that people come up with these ridiculous theories.Am I the only one amused by the fact that the majority of common sense posts here originate in medina county ;)....lol who woulda thunk it.
And if they're not from Medina county, the rest of the common sense seems to stem from those with sign-up dates of 11-1-1999, with clearly some exceptions.

It doesn't matter if I know or not, or if anyone knows. Come on, how ridiculous is it to theorize that the track would go to another park? Why the hell would they unload new track in Sandusky just to send it somewhere else? It's the stupid things like that.

Hey, just because I'm not from Medina county, and I don't have the preferable sign up date, doesn't mean I don't have any common sence. Heck, I have been going to the Point longer than some of you have been alive. ;}

First trip June 23rd
Well, Jeff, it makes perfect sense actually. Especially considering how cheap gas is these days.
Oh, wait...

Would it be acceptable to post Carlos Mencia's catch phrase "Der-da-Der!" whenever someone posts something stupid?
Maybe I'll just put it in my sig...

It's true. Half the people on here don't know what they're talking about. Then you got some that think they do, but... no. They still don't.
But then again, common sense is not so common.
It's not that hard to figure out what 2007 will bring us. I don't know for sure what it is, myself, but I mean, I know bits and pieces. I know what it won't be.
Don't be stupid. Don't act stupid.

I actually heard that the track isn't for Cedar Point, but Cedar Point had it shipped from Switzerland to throw everyone off. Next month it's being shipped to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and be used for their new Intamin rocket coaster.

Mega-looper. Possibly/probably a record breaker.
I agree. I also think that it will be a hyper-looper, but whether it will break records (i.e. most inversions) isn't as clear as the fact that it's Intamin.(Which it is, just for you non-believing folk.) Until we see a section of a vertical loop/any other inversion, we won't even know if it has inversions at all.

Arguing with a coaster enthusiast is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realize the pig enjoys it.
^I can't remember the last person to say I don't know what I'm talking about. We all think we do, but mainly its all in our heads. :)
I'm not exactly sure where to put this, but it's getting hard to check on the discussion about the new ride due to the same discussion going on in three different topics. I know Walt and Jeff added a Project 2007 forum, but I just think it's pointless to have so many topics so similar to eachother.
Am I the only one who feels this way? *** Edited 5/17/2006 11:46:24 PM UTC by Gomez***

I agree. The footers topic, the blog topic, and the track sighted topic...they all are about different topics at first, but are all funneling toward the same discussion. You could make a single general post about the ride relevent in either thread now.

I know what's going on...
The track has been shipped to CP to throw everyone off, and as Top Thrill Dragster mentioned, it is ultimately being shipped to Blackpool. In addition, the footers are also only being built on-site to throw everyone off. Those are being dug up so that they can be shipped to Orlando. Some may have also noticed the earth-moving that is going on. Well, all of that is actually only being done to augment the other misdirection, so that the footers and track look like they're actually for this project. The "Maverick" trademark is yet another very clever distraction, as this name will be used not for a coaster, but rather for a welcome addition to the petting zoo. It will be a rowdy bovine that snarls and spits at children, and will be quite the draw for families Worldwide.
I realize that this may seem a bit outlandish, but I can assure you that it is true. I talked to a seasonal in the park in 1988, and he seemed to know what he was talking about. This information was again confirmed recently when I spoke with a construction worker who was carrying a shovel. Well, it looked like a shovel, but it could have very easily been yet another clever distraction in order to move our attention from their true intentions.
This is actually quite brilliant, as it is a very effective marketing plan for Cedar Point. They are going to continue to insist this site will be the home of a new coaster, when it will actually be used for a weekly "magic" show for David Blane next season, where he will trap himself in a plastic bubble and magically get people to watch him do absolutely nothing of any importance.

Ahhh...so that's why there was Saran Wrap around the footers they were putting in the ground on Sunday May 8. How did I miss that fact. Thank you so much Dj.
