I guess you could look at this in a couple ways....
1. They are keeping the two park pass for CP and GL next year and want to generate higher sales for next year.
2. They are going with a single CF season pass are testing to see how many CF season passholders (without the two-park pass) will go there in addition to CP.
My guess is as good as anyones outside CF....
How does this affect me personally? I really enjoyed GL this year with my two-park pass and would buy it again. I will have been to CP 6 times and GL 3 times this year.
If they allow me to go to PKI on that pass, I probably will go once a year. I am excited about being able to take my kids to PKI, but other than that, I have no interest in going, other than to ride Beast once.

I respectfully disagree. I was there on a Sunday in August with my wife and two kids, and although the water side was standing room only, we enjoyed it tremendously. We are former combo pass owners, who switched to two park. While not quite up to snuff with Soak City, it is definately on its way, and the changing rooms for the men was a nice touch.
My only complaints are that there was only 1 ATM and 1 set of restrooms that was easily accessible in WWK and the "transportation" to the other side was a luagh out loud joke from a bad airport movie! I kept hearing the Airport workers in Houston saying "xcuse the caart pleaaase!"

The park has had an ATM issue for a while.

That's interesting, I didn't realize a Cedar Point pass didn't already get you into Geagua Lake. We have Worlds of Fun season passes and went to both parks in June at no charge. And the WOF season pass is $30 less than a Cedar Point pass.
BTW, the water park at Geagua lake absolutely rules. The fact it is new, clean, and the staff was the most attentive and helpfull that I have ever seen at a water park.
One funny story, the old man who drove the golf cart for us between the the two sides was one of the former ferry captains. He was very bitter the boats were no longer in operation. Asked us to pettition the office to bring them back. Which I never did but should.
With the free admission, I will probably be there both days and will probably have a different guest with me both days.

They don't say so specifically, but I would think so. They would be a Cedar Point Season Passholder as well, so I don't know why they'd be excluded.
