News: Cedar Point Season Pass Center to open

It is so exciting how close it actually is to opening day! With the season pass center opening and Skyhawk already testing just shows how close it really is. Speaking of Skyhawk Walt do we plan to see updated photos of the ride operating soon? I cant wait!

If you consider May 4 to be soon, then the answer to your question is "yes." I suspect, though, that cp.com will have some updates before then.

So wait. This year we don't need JCC to get our parking pass on our season pass.

We all know you take the best photos by far and I cant wait to actually see this ride in full swing! Also being able to add updating my season pass to my to do list.

That's right Kyurthich. The ladies in the Season Pass Center informed my family of that last year when we bought our vouchers. We were all ready to buy a JCC voucher when they told us the policy had been changed.

I've been waiting for them to announce their hours, now I just have to try to find a time when I can make it out there. Exams and 5 days in Atlanta between now and May 6 makes my time a little limited.

Well, I'm sure those who purchase it just for that option will be a little upset. Although, they'd probably refund them their money...

So, who else went today? It was my first time doing this and it took about 30 minutes to get my picture taken. The guy who greeted you as you came into the building was really nice.

I'm heading out on Friday to get mine done. I'm looking forward to my first "trip" of the season.

Yeah, it was my first "trip" as well. It was actually my first drive from Michigan to CP by myself (actually with my friends). It was great too. We talked to a few people in line, watched maintenance bring out Witches Wheel's carriages from the pavilions, saw a guy on MF's lift, went to Battery Park, saw what was going on at the WWL site (allot of work BTW) and then had dinner at Applebees. We had a great time....even though we were only at the park for an hour and half.:)

Makes me wish I lived in Michigan or...... wait.... just kidding. I'll stick with Canada. ;)

I get my season pass at Michigan's Adventure. It's cheaper and only less than an hour from me.

Me too, Mr. Scott. Though it's only $5 less, it'll get you into Geauga Lake , too.

I plan on going on up there tomorrow to get them redeemed.

I will be making this season's first visit on May 13th - actually will be arriving at The Breakers on the 12th - do you think we should still expect a long wait to exchange season pass vouchers at that point? Living 4 hours away in PA it's just not possible to make the trip beforehand!

I would say, if you arrive early enough, go and get your passes redeemed that Friday evening on the 12th to prevent any hassle the next morning.

Thanks - I was thinking about that also - don't want to waste any ride time the next morning.

Seeing that JCC isn't required to put the parking pass on ur pass just made my night. I'm going up on saturday to get my pass renewed with my girlfriend and we are so excited. Heck my prom is friday may 5th and i'm more excited about going to cedar point on Sunday the 7th then i am about prom.
