News: Cedar Point introduces new contest feature on web site

Ha, I remember writing to CP back in the winter of 1997 when I was 8 and had no clue about coasters or designing them. I drew something only an 8 year old could think of, sent it to the park, and got a letter from Keller and a 1998 calender with a nice large picture of Power Tower. :)

I'd be interested to know how many entries were in the drawing. What kind of odds to winning the contest were there?

They said in the blog entry there were nearly 2,000 entries. So, the odds were around 1 in 200.

I guess I missed that part of the entry. Stupid selective reading.

Neat. How many posters do you have Ben? I have 5 set up in my room(all Dragster;)). One of which is the 03 calender. Here's what my room looks like. My bed, my shelf, and my "doctorate". :)
The cool shades are courtesy of my awsome mom. I also plan on getting a new bedspread to fit my room theme.

I would but I can't find any 20X30 poster frames, anywhere! Believe me I don't like taping them....it's tacky. But I will get them framed sooner or later. I still have stuff to do to my room anyway.

I've got them up with Poster putty right now. Until I moved into this place, they resided in tubes.

I want to get frames soon, however. You know how it is.. Tight budget, etc :)

Ebay is wonderful, so much Cedar Point stuff on there. I have it displayed all around. My room has a few thingsBulletin Board, 2006 Calendar, 2002 Calendar, ariel view of Magnum, old pic of Cyclone. The basement has more stuff Computer Desk, Dresser, and finally Entertainment Center, 2005 map, 2000 calendar.
