1) I've heard the shuttle from the dorm is easy to miss; is this a common problem?
2) I play an instrument, and it's really important for me to be able to practice a few times a week. Where will I be able to do this?
3) Do they have lockers in the dorm, and are they safe? I need a place to keep my instrument.
4) Are there good vegetarian options at the employee cafeteria?
5) How much money do you usually spend each month? On food, laundry, rent, etc.
6) What are the conditions of the women's dorms? Are they clean? Do they have animal/bug infestations often? How much personal space do you get?
7) Are the dorms secured? Do you have to swipe a card to get in? Or are they open for anyone to come in?
8) Do you get paid overtime?
9) How does the whole uniform deal work? Do they give you one uniform or do they tell you to wear certain colors/styles?
I have so many questions.... thank you.
1.) I only ended up having to take the bus once last summer, but when I did it wasn't really a problem. I have heard of people missing the bus though, but just try to get there early each morning.
2.) What instrument do you play? I mean, if you play flute or something like that you could probably get away with playing it inside of commons. I'm not sure about something louder like a trumpet though.
3.) You have your own locker and you can purchase a lock for it. So I mean, it's pretty safe?
4.) I know we had salad and stuff like that in the cafe last year. There's also pizza.
5.) I didn't really keep track of it. Rent is automatically taken out of your check every check period, and laundry really isn't too bad... $1 wash / $1 dry and how ever much you go out to eat.
6.) By the women's dorms, I assume you're talking about the 1300's. They're not bad, but certainly not amazing. Bed bugs do go around, luckily, I didn't really have to deal with that last year.
7.) The commons area is extremely secure. Barbed wire fence and you have to scan your CP ID to get into them. The dorms themselves, you can pretty much just walk into.
8.) No lol
9.) You'll be given two sets of uniforms. Like for me as a ride host, you'll get two tops and either two pairs of shorts, two pairs of pants or one of each. You can bring back one uniform per day and exchange it for a clean one.

1) Missing the bus because the one you want to be on is full seems to be the most common problems. Bumming rides from people you work with who have cars is usually easy to do.
2) Depends on how loud it is I guess.
3) Bring a lock. I prefer the key variety over the combination kind, provided you don't think you'll lose the key.
4) I never paid much attention. There are salads, veggie burgers, and the occasional pasta entree for sure.
5) I don't think I can remember accurately enough to give you a fair estimate.
6) The dorms are what they are. You'll likely only be there to shower and sleep, so it's not all that bad.
7) If they're not an employee (or a guest of an employee before midnight) they won't be inside.
8) Nope.
9) ^ What they said.
