New Uniforms

The official site says that sweeps and rides will have new uniforms. Since there was recentlly a Campus Ambassador meeting, I was wondering if you guys got to see what they were like.

Yes I have seen the new ride uniforms, they are the same color, but a different style. The girl uniforms are also no longer the a jump suit, while the sweeps are also no longer the overall style. I dont think train or pet farm are getting new ones.

Train and pet farm uniforms are staying as is. Sorry ladies :( As for the new sweeps uniforms, they are a light yellow polo shirt with a khaki collar and khaki shorts. Ride ops (guys and gals alike) will be wearing a red and blue color blocked polo shirt and royal blue shorts. Traffic directors also got a new jacket, they're snazzy, but you've got to be in traffic to buy one from wardrobe. The uniforms are unisex because of sexual discrimination suits, which led to the recent coedding of rides.

Now if they could just do something about those area supervisor uniforms...Nash do you hear me??? :)

I wounder what would happen if a average unknowing Joe went to the park wearing something that looked like one of the uniforms. lol

Believe it or not, I saw a guest last year that had the Challenge Park shirt on except it was blue and yellow instead of red and black. I guess you never know!

I agree 100% 34. I dont like wearing a Pink Uniform. They also look to much like we are managing a McDonald's or something. Check my profile if you dont know what an Area's Uniform looks like.

I saw a guest that had one of those fish shirts that the Soak City people wear one time. I have also seen guests wearing the "smurf" jackets without the CP logo on them of course!

I've even heard of guests offering money for employee's uniforms (shirts and such)...now I think that is going a little bit too far! :)

That is just sad, I did once have a girl ask me if she could by my hat, the green checkered one I got of my freind, while the new style were in use.

Well a lot of people do it. So don't feel embarassed about your brother. Although I really can't see why anyone would want a sweaty ugly uniform. After knowing what they go through in just a year (and most uniforms have been there for years...) I don't care how much of a CP freak I was, I wouldn't go anywhere near them if I didn't have to! I guess I can understand the hats though, although you never really know whose head it is coming off of (I am sure people don't wear them after buying them from an employee, but still...) I guess they are just "hard to gets".

I would like to know who picks out the uniforms. I mean just look at them, they should consider uniforms that dont embarass the employee's. Not all do, but I feel sorry for some departments.

I asked tons of employees for a hat...nobody would sell.

i have tons of hats but they are keepsakes... not givin em up. I keep getting online offers from some kid that I know is on this thing but I dont remember his name, and he offered me like $50 for my smurf jacket and i was like uhhh sorry no, its a momento.
