And the garter lighting looks Amazing!!!!!!!11

I've always found garters amazing no matter the lighting. ;)

Goodbye MrScott

John

I think everyone needs to calm down OMG. Its just an update. Live with it, to be honest T&T have more importnant things to do besides an update. If you all would remember they said they are working on a pointcast also in the last update. So do everyone get their panties in a bunch. The Point opens in a few days. I bet you all T&T feel bad that they cant update every week. My god they have other things to do besides giving updates to us. Its called Public Relations and Marketing, Its a fun job, but can be stressful at times, I've been there. Trust me

I just submitted a note to T&T for approval on OnPoint. It basically says that we appreciate what they do and that, even though some of us are a bit pushy, they are doing a great job at giving us just enough information to make us come begging for more. I hope they post it, but if nothing else, I hope it goes to show that at least some of us appreciate what they do for us. :-) *** Edited 4/26/2007 4:07:26 PM UTC by YoungBear***

Just seems 10 minutes a week to a new blog is a very inexpensive marketing cost to keep people going to their web page.

Woah, woah, woah. 10 minutes for a new blog? Not a chance. Even the latest blog, which is just a few sentences and a few pictures, took longer than 10 minutes to create. The pictures, videos, and information they get doesn't just 'show up' on their computers for them to just click a "Submit" button. They have to take time...away from what they're already doing...to go out into the park, get info on whatever they may be blogging about, and get pictures. THEN, and only then, will they be able to sit down at their desks, type up a blog, format it how the want it to look, and post it.

And let's not forget, they've got to spend quite a bit of time sifting through the various "Where's a new blog" comments they get each day. So the next time you think about submitting a comment complaining about wanting a new blog, remember that the time they spend sifting through those useless comments is time taken away from them that could've been used to create said blog entry.

It's not so much the garters as what's in 'em . . . ;)

My author website: mgrantroberts.com.

I love the live entertainment department, and that's why I was initially disappointed by this blog. It does even come close to showing all the hard work that goes into putting these shows together. I was wishing they would have held this blog off until they had the time to make it a little more informative, to show people how amazing the live entertainment department really is.

Unfortunately, T&T really set the bar too high when they started the blog. They had unbelievably informative entries, which undoubtedly took a lot of time to put together. They also put them up pretty frequently. It was unrealistic to expect this to always be the case, as sometimes they are just too busy to go out in the park and get these pictures, or there just isn't anything else to really cover. I think thats what can cause this frequent blog disappointment.

Good point bro. Either way I don't really care how much they update. I can just understand where people are coming from about this situation.

I don't know about yall, but I really thought there would be a huge blog about when Maverick had its first official test run. Instead, I learned about that here from people getting stills from the webcams.

I believe that the prism that you are talking about is actually the ladder he is standing on up in the balcony . After I read your post I had to take a second look myself.

You're absolutely right. I went back and looked at the pics and it's just a ladder. I feel pretty dumb! Guess it's easy to see what you WANT to see, maybe not what's really there.

There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark.

Another update today with a cool caboose ;)

WOW... This is certainly un-Cedar Fairish. This is really cool, and the thing looks great. Much better than the coal thing or the canyon in my opinion. Wow, what a nice surprise!

Thrills Around the Corner!

I think the update about the caboose is pretty cool. It's neat to have a historical piece incorporated into a ride that boosts modern technology. It helps keep the spirit of Fronteir Town.

I used to love climbing around that caboose when I was a little kid...brings back memories... :)

Yes, it's wonderful that the park has decided to bring a piece of the Railroad's history back. That caboose has sat in the boneyard for many years just rotting away.

If I could only request one thing of the park about the caboose though, is that they keep the old CP&LE logo on it's side. That is the last of the original style logo from the first years of the Railroad.

From everyone on the CP&LE, RIP Mayor Scott...~

So what exactly is the history of this caboose? Was it actually used by CP?

Thrills Around the Corner!

^ Not sure of the history of the caboose, but according to the blog.... "...This particular caboose was formerly used on an actual railroad outside of Cedar Point, and its use was discontinued in the ‘60s...."

I'm too sexy for my harness!

Is that the same caboose that used to sit behind Albert on the Frontier Trail?

I agree about the lettering too.

-Adam G- The OG Dragster nut

Just to clarify, are they saying there is one more big Maverick surprise, or just one more surprise overall that may have to do with something elsewhere in the park?

^I'm not sure, but the whole Raptor/Woodstock Express on-ride video hasn't been mentioned on the blog yet. Not sure if that's their surprise or not?
