^ You are correct about Xcelerator being the prototype, my fault. As for Twister, mid summer seemed to be hell for that poor ride as I was part of the crew this past season, but as the season progressed, mechanical down time lessened.

I agree that the black top throughout the park does need replaced. However, I have a feeling that in a couple of years, the brick work Cedar Point has added to the entrance area a few years ago will be very unappealing with cracks and weeds growing through, or else I would suggest that as I like the way it looks (same goes for Kings Island's Coney Mall area). Only time will tell I guess.

You're both correct. Xcelerator was the first hydraulic launch coaster from Intamin so it's the true prototype. And Dragster was a prototype in a sense that it was an upgraded version of the launch motor on Xcelerator which was required to launch the trains at the desired speed.
