Maybe Kinzel was really sold on CCI and decided to wait awhile before trying to put another woodie in at the Point? He did seem to love GCI as well with their work on Mean Streak as well as the construction of Renegade & Prowler.

I know, I was more pointing out the fact that Kinzel seemed to be interested in woodies then, yet never acted on it with either CCI or its descendants; in my original post I was wondering if he was infatuated with -only- CCI coasters, and lost interest after they closed shop.

^More than likely (looking at the comment he made that you have in your first post). It was some time before another wooden coaster was built at any of the Cedar Fair parks after that. Renegade being the first since GhostRider. After CCI dissolved, maybe he lost respect for wood haha.
