New ride entrance signs suck

I'm having a difficult time remembering if there were any other markings besides the old cartoon signs. I know at Raptor there is the big "Raptor" overhead and at MF and Mantis there is a big sign, but at the other rides, is (was) there anything to identify the ride besides the cartoon sign? These new signs don't identify the name of the ride very well and as CrystalKat said, they really are almost interchangeable. I think people will not know the name of the ride they're riding and this may eventually hurt the name recognition of some of CP's rides. Bring back the cartoon signs or at least something big and bold that identifies the ride.

Yeah, the name is buried in there somewhere. For first timers it may be difficult for peeps to identify which ride it is. Besides the entrance signs I think these are some that have the name's on them.

Millennium Force-BIG sign
Raptor-Sign overhead queue entrance
Magnum/Gemini-Name on Station (difficult to spot on Magnum Anymore)
CCMR-Name on Boarded up Mine Entrance Thing
Wildcat - Station
Iron Dragon- On Station Somewhere

Mantis?—?
Corkscrew-Symbol on Station, but no name
Dispatch Master Transport- 12E
Mean Streak??—?
Blue Streak- Thought it was above station in Blue Script, not sure if it's there anymore

Now the Flats ride would be very difficult for people to spot.

Calypso - the lights on the back wall, if they're still there. Dodgems have the word on the white tiles near the roof. Scrambler is fairly recognizable the world over, no big deal there. But the bigger problem is that the GP generally has a hard time reading big huge colorful cartoony signs that are right in front of their faces, much less looking for generic legalese typing on a standard-issue sign. Watch out for the confusion to begin!

Mantis has the circular yellow logo with the white border.
Just some info, but I emailed CP about those signs and the lady said that they were designed to apply to the amusement industry standards. She also passed them on the planning and design department. She mentioned that she liked the idea of having 2 signs at each entrance. Hey that works for me just bring back the characters. I like those to measure my brothers on than those metal things.
Has anyone noticed the ride rating on the Frog Hopper over by the Gemini? I believe CP gives this ride a '3'. Try and figure that one out!

If Dorney has them both, then Dorney should send a memo. :)
