This should be funny...

So with everyone placing their bets on *what* the new ride will be, the next question seems to be "when will we find out?" Place your bets on when CP will announce!

I'll take this Thursday, October 11th. I say this as Cedar Point announced both Lighthouse Point and MF on a Thursday.

My guess is Wednesday the 10th. Why Wednesday? Because the gypsies foretold it...ok, maybe they didn't, but after all, they were right about the Magnum not sinking! ;)

Millennium Force looks too cold for me.

Hopefully very soon. I can't stand the anticipation any longer! All the speculations are fun, exciting, and humorous to read and I'm glad it's been aloud, but dang, now I really want to know... especially since I was another that fell for the October 8th date. I'll end with a second to the 11th! Why? It's a month before my 16th birthday...that makes it special...

I'm going to say October 19. No reason.

It's hard to predict when a possible announcement would be made. Just be patient.

I don't remember where, but I heard that it will be announced October 18. I could be wrong, but I can't wait until they announce it!

Serious opinion for a sec: Not the 11th... why? retrace your memories a month before that date.

i hope october 10 because that is my b-day and i think that would be soooo cool if they announced the new ride on my b-day and that is what i here every where else.

Well, to be honest, I too jumped on the October 10th bandwagon, and was hoping for the announcement today. Eventhough the day is not yet over, I expected it to come earlier in the day. Oh well, the anticpiation goes on

I think they won't announce until the season has closed or the deadline to expire for there 2002 season pass deal.

Don't you guys think with the events happening in the world right know they might wait a bit?...Not fun to be overshadowed...
