New Picture

mrinkspot...i must have been thinking of another ride...isnt there a top gun that isnt suspended, or inverted? Cause if there isnt then im just totally out of sync right now...i coulda swore there was.
All four of the Top Gun coasters are either suspended or inverted and located in a Paramount park.

Even though Top Gun at PKI is very short, it is one heck of a ride. They made that suspended do what a suspended was designed to do. Second in my opinion only to Big Bad Wolf.
Agreed...

there are some new aerial photos of TTD on virtual miday....very nice pics from a plane!! TTD just towers over everything else! http://www.virtualmidway.com/mystery/default_p022103.asp
Those new pics are really cool! That 3rd picture really dwarfs the Power Tower.
Very nice!

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

Those are some sharp shots. The supports and the track really seem to jump out of the screen. Mantis looks great too. Thanks for providing these for us!

Those are some good pictures. I wonder if they're professional photos or not. Those are some of the aerial shots I've been waiting to see. They're all good pictures. I think my favorite picture is the one with Power Tower in it. It really gives you a good overview of the area & the whole ride. I might use that picture as my new wallpaper.

I really like the second picture. It has all four world record breaking coasters for height all in one.
Magnum looks like it has been repainted in those pictures, it looks really bright. Does anyone else see what I'm seeing?

I think its amazing how much that bright yellow stands out from everything in the park. You can see it over everything else, and im sure they gave it those bright colors on purpose. The pictures are swell.

I see that magnum looks bright, but i dont think they repainted it.

This has to be my favorite picture: http://www.virtualmidway.com/mystery/attraction525.jpg

There needs to be a caption underneath it that says something like, "Four Generations, One Photo..."

What is The Animatrix?

Mantis looking pretty good from the 3rd pic.
(sorry of topic a little bit)

wood stand for...Wood Out Of Date.. sledding is the only thing that is close to cp in the winter the way i put it six flags needs more parks to keep up with the one and only cp :)
I though TTD was supposed to be taller than Millenniun Force. :)

Mantis is looking good. Too bad Millennium Force is already starting to get faded :(

...and to think that people were originally complaining about the yellow tower structure. It's meant to be highly visible, and I think it serves its purpose wonderfully.

Is it just me or does Magnum look really bright and red in those pictures?

"Wheres the Callahan factory?!?!?"

SteelMonsters, I see your sarcasm, but yes, MF does seem taller, because of the shot looking down on everything including TTD - that's what optical illisions will do to you.

I am simply amazed by those pics with Magnum in them - I still remember the time when Maggie was the tallest coaster in the world and I went on it and it made me howl...now look how TINY it is compared to this yellow monster! I'm going to a fitness show in Columbus next weekend, and will make it a point to see this beast in person on my way back!
