New Picture

I think that either the brownish color is because of the sun or is supposed to contrast with the actually bright yellow of the top of the train. You can see that picture that there are two distinct colors.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

I love that picture from the 27th. Seeing the yellow train on the track, with the 420 foot hill, looks so cool. It's a great picture. I made it my wallpaper. Now I know opening day is really getting near. I must say though, the train looks more gold in color than yellow.

Hey I can't WAIT for this! I'm so excited. It's posted here
http://www.topthrilldragster.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/ttd/specs/index.cfm that the yellow train's color is actually called "sunshine yellow" so I'm sure in true sunlight it will look awesome! But I agree with some previous statements, who cares about the color, just ride baby, just ride! ;) ~Diana

That's a good question. I think that it's betweeen Terminator 3 and TTD.

You know people acctually said that on Millennium Force. For some reason they always wanted the blue train?

LoL. I usually avoid the blue train because it's noticeably slower than the yellow and red.

I agree... there's only been one time that the red train was slower than blue in my memory

Oh my GOSH! Those latest pictures are so cool. I had no idea that TTD was so close to the water that's right there. That is very neat. And hmm I bet that the queues are going to be pretty neat. It sure will be exciting! Ahhhh!

In one of the pictures I noticed the Guessing Game has been moved back to the side of the midway it was before construction started.

It looks like the cars are back on the Big Wheel. Does anyone know what that large covered pit near the entrance is?

Maybe it is that tunnel that was talked about in one of the journals. Just a guess.

We hope the queuing process becomes less monotonous as your enter the "Infield Tunnel" by introducing a themed soundtrack and trivia panels based on both drag racing and roller coasters. So bone up on the latest technology before you come to the park -- you may just amaze your friends.

From the journal mark another perspective.

The two pictures are great and really shows its new position in the park. And yeah, seeing the second picture and how close it is to Paddlewheel really makes you think how tall this thing really is [you can tell that from the first pic] but I can't wait until I go in June.

I'm surprised just how close the queue will be from the brake run and transfer tracks.

Yeah, that's going to be pretty cool standing in line and having a train roaring by at 100 mph every 45 seconds or so. Hope everybody secures their items...
