New people and their online training.

Hey whats up? I leave for cedar point in no less than 12 days and I have not yet received any kind or anything pertaining to online training. Now I dont know if I have to take it seeing as I work as a third shift building cleaning attendant but i need to be sure.

Everyone has to take the online training every year, even returners (and even Screamsters, which never made sense to me). I doubt they have the system up and running this early, it seems to always have a few bugs that need worked out.. If you dont' do it before you process in, they'll just schedule a time for you to do it once you're there and the system is up and running.

yup, no online training this year....

That sounds incredibly lame if they plan on making everyone, returners included, take it.

I always found it dumb that returning employees took the same online training as a new employee. Returning employees should have to take harder tests since they should know their stuff about park polices. The longer you work there, the harder or more "in-depth" the test should be.

Even if you work all year you have to take company training, I had it every 2 years... It may seem dumb, but it helps keep everyone up to date on policies and guest interactions.

hey taking it agian just allows me to score higher than my 95% last year since i know alot more then i did at the beggining of the 2008 season but heres a question i got bronze certified for both the front of the house and the back of the house so do i have to take those classes agian and take the test agian or do i go back already bronze certified

wait... you didn't get 100% on it? It was open internet. How could you possibly get any wrong?

Randall, in 2007, one of the questions had the wrong answer marked as the right answer, and a lot of people missed one. So, in cases of computer error, it is possible to miss a question. ;)

hey now i read nothing about mr kinsel in the text and when it asked who the ceo of cedar fair was i just guessed and i think i came up with mr mason hopefully mr kinsel doesnt see that oh well after about 3 seconds of being at the park i learned everything very quickly next month i was passing my bronze certification for both the front of the house and back of the house both with 100% and i also passed my serve safe / serve safe alcahol so im pretty sure i can let not passing my online course slide by hey it was my first year this year ill be better though im working at breakwater cafe instead of famous daves

Ok i am sorry i did better in french than i did in english during highschool. geez i take alot of critisim i swear.
