New Nametags and other changes for 2k2

I got an email rumoring about that we get new nametags that will be a white or beige color (Whoo-hoo, it'd match my car) and the names will be blue or red or the like? Anyone have any views on this, it's a rumor so I take nothing for what it is, but it still sounds cool...I just hope they're is no Snoopy, I'm tired of that mangy mutt :)

I've heard the same thing Nate, but then again I also heard last summer that ride ops were supposed to be getting new uniforms this summer I guess we'll see when we all get down there.

I remember hearing about new tags for this year last summer. I was shocked when I heard about it. Part of what I heard is that Snoopy may not be apart of it. I don't really mind what the tag looks like. Although I think it would be neat if they cycled through all the peanuts characters. Some people would have Charlie Brown, Some would have Snoopy, Linus. Now that would be neat

Yeah, basically Kozi...

Light green tags meant you were 14-15 years old...easy to identify what you could/could not do

Dark green tags were 16-17 years old.  You could do more (esp. in foods) than the 14-15 year olds, but you still couldn't run a ride or stuff like that

Red tags (and were there alot of them) were pretty much everyone else that wasn't management or supervision of some sorts.  Most people get hired into this, but some of us get promoted up to blue tags

Blue tags...in foods, it was the supervisors of individual food stands but in other depts. i'm sure it was different.  Also a little pay raise.

Double blue tags had both their first and last names printed.  Kinda like the blue tags boss

And silver tags were like zone managers and stuff...The upper bosses.

I am really excited to be working there this summer but, I am not excited about the light green tag! Brian, you, Moose and everyone else will be making fun of my tag color quite a bit this summer! ;)

Well Greg, some may call me crazy, but it was my opinion to turn down supervisory position in foods for Park Ops.  I know I made the right choice, so well just see.

Brian I would of done the same thing! Rides over food definately! Right now I have a choice of Merchandise or Foods. I went with Merchandise. IMO, foods doen't appeal to me.

Yeah totally.  Megs, I'm not gonna forget you guys.  I'll be in the back of the park when I can.  Working in foods since 16 just got real old.  I applied at CP last year for rides, but didn't get it, but now I did, so I'm totally pumped.

I can honestly tell you we aren't getting new uniforms this summer. The uniforms we have now were new in 2000, so don't expect new uniforms for us, but Park Op Sups are getting new uniforms though. I am pretty sure they are the same as the soak city sup uniforms, white polo shirt and shorts.

I don't know about name tags either. That design we have now was new in the summer of 99. They might change them who knows. Are they the clip on type still or are they pin on like they use to be? Are our ID's on the back of them or do we get seperate ones again?

It just depends on the person. Foods isn't for everyone, Park op would never be for me. :) I love my job!

I did foods at a local park up here in Michigan for 3 years. I enjoyed doing it but the people i worked with my last year were real immature or just jerks...I ended up quitting before the season was over....

I know all about the nametags fading--in 2000 my red was light orange by the end of the season and last year my blue was almost teal...i hope they go white.

Captain Nate I heard the same Rumor also but don't know what they will have on them but I am wondering if maybe they are going to the name tags like at dorney because it was Dorney's First Year with the Pin on kind that are round So It will be interesting to see what we are getting. Also Supervisors are getting new Uniforms supposedly
