New Midway Idea

I like the idea, but I would much rather have another Chair Lift like the Skyride across the lagoon. Of course, something like that you would have to wait in line for unlike a bridge. The only advantage is that you wouldn't have to walk and you could just relax. Also, the views would be pretty nice, especially of the new coaster.

I love the idea, but what about the stupid GP? The ones that have a problem walking through the park and knowing where they are. I saw some lady point at corkscrew the other day and ask her husband/bf if it was Millennium Force. I don't know if they could handle finding the back of the park if they put a midway there.

Unless they aren't looking at a map, I think if they are stupid enough to not be able to tell the difference between MF and corkscrew that they deserve to get lost. Considering that you can see MF from practically anywhere in the park and the map gives a pretty good idea of what MF and Corkscrew look like.

I like this idea. It does seem to take a while to get around the loop. And usually after I hit MF I wanna go ride magnum or gemini. And that would be cool to walk under Millennium Force on Millennium Island.

I think that would be great too. They have alot (or what seems like alot) of land on millenium island, and it would be so cool to walk around on there. Hey maybe they can even put a few shops/flat rides or something like that on the island, that would definately be cool.

The left side of Millennium Island, if looking from the new ride, would be a great place for a huss "land of the giants"... but alas. I'll settle for any sort of transportation to the other side of the park via Millennium Island... rides can always be added later.

Here's to hoping Jeff's statments are implying that there will be a bridge. We can hope, can't we? :)

I would like to see some way of getting form Magnum to the Frontier Trail, whether it be a path or a sky ride. It is such a long walk.

Proud to be on the train when ST Kara took her 1,000 lap on Shivering Timbers.

How about renovating the old Frontier Lifts that are just rotting in the bone yard? That would be cool have it travel from in between Monster and Witches Wheel over the laggoon and Island to the middle of Frontier Trail. Just theme the stations accordingly to their surroundings?

The only thing left of the Frontier Lift is the north station, and I don't know that there's anything left in there. Many of the tubs are apparently in service on Sky Ride (Dave would know for sure). What you see in the bone yard I believe came from Dorney, but don't quote me on that.

That's right, Jeff. The sky ride in the bone yard is from Dorney. As far as I know, the Frontier Town Frontier Lift station is still there because of the bathrooms in the lower level and the storage space in the rest of the building.

Yup, it is referred to as "the Lift" by rides employees and it was where we went to pick up cleaning supplies usually. It houses things like disinfectant, paper towels, stuff to clean trains, etc.

I think it would be great to have a go-between. I especially like the lift Idea, but again, the waiting. And then theres the iminent (Spelling?) Polution of the lagoon. (See Mantis's queue) With Loogies and Gum etc. But it would still be cool :)
Hey what about a

monorail? I know they USED to have one, and it looked pretty cool from the picture I saw. I can see that going over the lagoon nicely. Again though.... the queue. Oh well.

Hey JEFF-

The only thing left of the Frontier Lift is the north station, and I don't know that there's anything left in there.

Where exactly is it? I am just curious, I would like to see it on my way to work tonight, but I cant think of any structure with restrooms in it that would be a past lift station.

It's between the Town Hall Museum and the Mine Ride.

WOW..thats quite a ways back. I would have never found it there. Thanks!
Why not just put a second station on iron dragon, it's slow enough to be a people mover.

Ha, joke.

yea...but Iron dragon bangs your head around sometimes.
