New Gemini Midway restaurant (this might be it)

I hope they serve that lobster roll as they make it in their New England restaurants (the traditional way) like the video because I saw on that other park's menu it had cheese sauce on it! Blech! I wonder if they'll serve lobster roll at all. I'll be disappointed if they don't.

I bet this is replacing Game Day Grill and is not the restaurant on the Gemini midway.

I hope not, but Tony did say it was sports related so anything is possible.

Looks like they just confirmed it is replacing Game Day Grill and there will just be a Yogurt Plus over in the new Gemini Midway...not quite a restaurant but that's okay. They also confirmed the sling shot ride for 2014!

Well since it's now confirmed that it will be replacing Game Day Grille, it looks like it will be a full service restaurant and bar.

I'm happy with everything except the fact they are taking out Donuts Time! NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!! :(

I'm hoping they keep the doughnut machine and sell the doughnuts and cinnamon rolls along with the Starbucks items. One can hope.

I'm a little bummed about the Gemini restaurant not being a restaurant but a yogurt shop. Not that frozen yogurt doesn't sound good but hoped to have more food choices there along with some yogurt. Was Game Day Grille the place that had the buffet?

You might be thinking about the Midway Market. THAT was a buffet. Game Day Grille was more of a "table-waiter" restaurant.

Okay, thanks, I just had to look up the dining options on Cedar Point website. I had no idea that they had Lobster Bisque at Game Day Grille. Now I'm bummed I never had any. Wonder how good it was.

If you got a Zoup near you, they sell Lobster Bisque there. It's one of the few soups they sell everyday.

Hey, I hadn't heard of Zoup, and there's one in Fairlawn. Thanks for the tip!

I go to the one in North Canton alot. They change their soups everyday, so check their website before going. But I always see Lobster Bisque. Another cool thing about Zoup is you can sample the soups before you buy them.

Checking out the menu now, it looks great. I may recall someone mentioning Zoup as a restaurant for Cedar Point to get in on that one thread about "what kind of food..." because now the name is sounding familiar.

It was me, I said it. I think it would be cool to get one in the park.

Oh, wow, and I agree with you, very nice recommendation to get in the park.

That thread made me hungry. I had to try beef pho because of it (it was good). Now I have to get to Zoup!

I got addicted to Zoup after going there. There are so many great soups to choose from. My favorite is Macaroni and Cheese, but they haven't had it in a while. Sometimes I go there 2 or 3 times a week.

I think that would be very easy to do. Checking out the mushroom, shrimp and crawfish, tomato bisque, many great options and variety. The menu kind of reminds me of Noodles and Company but with soup. The salads and sandwiches look good, too. I don't think there's any Noodles up here in NE Ohio but they're in Columbus.

I never got any of their sandwiches or salads, but their soups are so good. Sometimes it's hard for me to make up my mind if there are so many good ones.

A Starbucks eh? Better be careful... going to run out of options to replace unique offerings with gentrified chains. All we need now is a Sbarro and Cedar Point will have a complete representation of a mall food court.

Since Chickie's & Pete's is being billed as a 'sports bar', will the park actually pay for some sports packages or continue to provide their thrilling lineup of basic cable ESPN?
