New Employee questions!!!

hello everyone I will be new to merchandise this year and I have a million questions!...Does anyone have any sugestions on what to bring? How long does it take to process in, and what time should I come? Can I have someone wait with me when I processs in? where is the best place to live, how do you find a roomate?

here is a group on facebook to find roommates cedarpointroomies2011 look it up pack light when do u process in yes someone can wait with u or walk around the park while u process in if it's in may come early like 6am and plan on a all day event of signing papers it depends how many people u want to live with and if u want a kitchen or just eat roman noodles all season

Roomates. well if you havnt found any yet you might get stuck with randoms. To me the best place to live is commons and there you live with 2-3 others
and you have air right in your room and lockers and a couple dressers. Its the dorms. you will also have a microwave and can eat out.
Apartments you could live with 8-12 other people.

Processing in- Get there between 6-7 and it will take 2-3 hours if your one of the 1st people in line. You can bring someone with you and they can wait with you. That shouldnt be a problem

thx...does the commons have internet i have online classes and ill need internet acsess at all times

They do its not the greatest I heard but it does work
and the rec room is right by the commons and they have internet access there
and so does donut time inside the park.

i been working at kings dominon for 3 years now. and the changed the rules so that we cant bring personal items to our stands aanymore so i guess im asking how you would get a locker. i never had one and no one telling me

At all of the rides I've worked at, we actually have lockers somewhere around our ride. I'm not sure how this works for any other area of the park, but I'd assume that they have something pretty similar.

i know we have lockers around stands but i believe those are for guests. idk i will just have to play by ear cause i start work sat.

I'm trying to get into rides for the summer but the person they keep connecting me to doesnt answer her phone. Is there someone else I can talk to?

you should talk to your manager. or after you worked 40 days you can switch. idk how it is there but that how its here
