new employee

As a new employee for 2004, I had a question about housing. How highly would you all reccomend living in CP housing. My grandparents own a house on Catawba Island and I was thinking about commuting from there. It sounds like you all have a blast living together, so I was just wondering if you thought I would still meet plenty of people by not living in employee housing.

You will miss out on alot of good times by not living in CP housing. You can still have a great time by not living off campus, but I would venture to say that alot of people are not going to want to drive to/from Catawba Island just to hang out. Just my opinion though.

I would highly recommend you live in housing if nothing more than just the experience!

It isn't a bad idea to go and visit your grandparents' place once in a while, though... (Hmmm, free laundry and home cooking ^_~ ).
