New construction near Gemini...

Gemini is 30 and Magnum is going to be 20. But Magnum's entrance isn't as obvious as Gemini's. So what Josh was saying was, they should put a new sign for Magnum before Gemini.

If you do the math Gemini was built in 1978. 11 years later Magnum XL 200 debuted in 1989. So from this year from back when in 1978, Gemini is 30 years old. So yes Gemini is older. I hope I didn't sound like a smart allic.

Maybe it's for an ad display. Like for them to put John Deere tractors on it or something. That's prime real estate too, so they must have paid big bucks!

I've seen it several times in the past few days, and I think its something for Halloweekends, or a sign for Gemini. I know there are a lot of changes coming this year for Halloweekends (construction towards Snake and Millennium Island), including new things (possibly a zone), and moving CarnEvil (Planet Snoopy will stay open). I'm still trying to figure out where they could move CarnEvil, because it would be really hard to do with Fright Zone blocking one way to the back of the park, and I can't see them forcing people to either ride the train or be scared with little ones walking through a scare zone to get to the back of the park.

not to ruin anyone's fun, but the poster who said it is a condo for the time share weasels wins. I was in the park Tuesday and the signs for a Blugreen travel station were up. I have no idea if this is in additional to their current home base under Corkscrew or is replacing it. Though it did seem to me that it would be harder to avoid them in that spot -- depending on how far they are permitted to roam.

Awesome. Now guests can pay good money to get annoyed and harassed permanently!

I wouldn't recommend punching them...just wait until you see one in the restroom. Nothing like a good, old-fashioned swirlie!

I haven't been there this year to see any of those sales

people, but when I am heading to whatever ride at the

time, even little kids with ice cream or older folks

with walkers can't stop me... before they get their hand

up to get my attention, I will be mowing them over... :)

I've had no issues with them. Same as the kiosks at the mall, I just walk by.

I accidentally walked right into the lion's den. I was sorta pushed by people and was almost face to face with one of them. She just complimented me on my braids, and said thanks and kept walking. :)

It's kind of weird seeing the kiosks in the park now. One thing I'm glad about with these guys is they don't stop you when you're trying to mind your own business and pressure you to sign up for something like the malls do. In the malls if you give the kiosks too much eye contact they stop you and it's hard to get them to go away...lol.

I always wanted to try giving them a taste of their own medicine.. like if they ask if I was interested in a time share, I'd put on a headset and say "No, but have you seen the latest technology in Sham cloth? Two words.. SHAM. WOW."

Kings Island has something like this in front of LaRosas by the construction site and Beast and they are so quiet you would not know they are there if you don't look for them. They only talk to you if you start the convo.
