NEW BLOG and pictures of the'barn'

I am guessing the 'barn' is going to be for holloweekends.

Or maybe a new quick serve resturaunt.

That's hideously out of place.

What do mean, a few stores down there is a gigantic Snoopy Dog house and next to that a Japanese Pagoda.

Looks like a nice place to get some Ice Cream.

It sure does look out of place. Maybe it'll look more in place when everything is done.

Haha, yea. The snoopy dog house is fine, but the Pagoda just comes out of no where. Since this is a Barn themed building, I would say this will be the location of Toft's. A nice Dairy Farm theme, though it would be better suited in Frontier Town

^I have no doubt they will make it "blend in" by painting it some outrageous pastel color. Perhaps it will get the color scheme of the building that used to occupy that space, pink.

We just have to wait and see dont we?

Looks an awful lot like a giant dog house if you ask me.

Which might make sense, considering its proximity to other Snoopy themed items.

^I was kind of thinking the same thing, but the "Barn" has an opening on the side. Dog houses usually don't have the side entrance...

Also on a side note, I love the pavers! That walkway looks great already!

Ok, who didn't know what a paver was?

I always thought "art deco" when I looked down the main midway...even with the pagoda. I'm not sure how they will dress up a barn in art deco motif but I guess we will see.

A barn is just a generalization... they can use different types of architectural styling to make it fit in.

I have to say, I wasn't expecting the new ice cream parlor to look like a barn. I never understood the logic of theming a place that sells food to a place that houses animals, I don't really want to eat with the animals. I hope they succeed in using architectural styling to make it fit in a look nice.

That is actually not the first barn to grace the main midway. How many here remember the Chicken Patio? That was a red barn like building, about where Midway Market is now, that sold very good fried chicken.

The structure reminds me a lot of Ben & Jerry's at Valleyfair.

Perhaps an indoor flat like Haybaler? lol

No offense..but you people make the biggest deal over nothing..its a freakin barn for god sake! you are writing a whole new topic...about a barn..now think how silly that is...wow.
