New Banner on Mean Streak

Wow... thats strange. Are they just trying to celebrate the 15th anniversary, or are they just trying to tell people that Mean Streak is back there?

And how long has it been since MS was rated in the top 10 woodies?

Thats the first I have seen those rankings... can not say I agree much at all with the list of Wooden Coasters...

Sorry I would have never thought about posting this under skyhawk cam.

I think it has that title because it was from before we knew it involved Mean Streak.

That doesnt speak well for wooden coasters if MS is in the top 10. Are these people on crack?

I had one of my best Mean Streak rides on Sunday. I rode front seat of the gold train and it was very smooth and fun. I even got some airtime on a few of the hills! All of my rides this season have been good, I think it's in great shape this season.

i too think that ms is in the best shape it has been in since it opened. it is fast and smooth(er) and even gives air time. it almost deserves to be in the top ten this year! great job mean streak! ride on

I rode the gold train front seat on Monday, and the same seat on the green train, and I must say, the ride was awesome from there. I really like it before, but after those two rides I like it even more.

I like MS. It was a bit bumpy at the bottom of the hills but I love the drop and the large, sweeping turns.

I noticed last year that it was giving quite a bit of airtime, though I haven't ridden it yet this year.

I had one good ride this season... but the rest of mine were less than stellar...

If a poll places it in the top 10, thats one thing... but putting it just one spot below Shivering Timbers?... Thats unacceptable...

I hear ya Josh. I had one good ride this year and the rest were crap. I can't even imagine it in the top 20, honestly.

Edit-Now that I think about it, I've probably had 3 good rides in the last 5 years, and that is at a minimum of 10 visits a season, never missing a ride on it. *** Edited 7/12/2006 3:29:44 AM UTC by macho nachos***

What a joke. When I saw the results of that poll you could tell that those who voted had an obvious bias for Cedar Point rides. For them to put up a huge banner for the ride based on a poll with questionable merit is just absurd.
