*Last season I packed clothes like I was going to have time to wear them. This is not like college. You wear clothes on your off days. Other than that, bring comfortable things to wear. You’ll end up going shopping and go home with more than you brought. So do yourself a favor and don’t over pack in the clothes department!
The less you bring the better, because the rooms are small. Yes, employees are aloud to bring TVs, and mini - fridges. If know who your roommates are going to be, coordinate as to who can bring a TV / mini fridge.
Housing is okay, but not anything special. I have only lived in Commons Dorms and Bayside. I actually prefer Common Dorms over Bayside. You will only have 2-3 other roommates and you have A/C (trust me, you will want AC on a 103 degree day in July).
I don't know what color shoes an employee working in foods needs (I never worked in foods). Check before you spend $$ only on the wrong color. Another thing, Sandusky is a typical city that has a mall, Target / Walmart, Kroger (a grocery store), Kohls, Old Navy, Plato's Closet etc. So if you need something throughout the summer, there is a place to get it.
There is a bus that takes you to Walmart, Mall, and to Meijer. There is a bus schedule that tells you when they arrive / depart. Or make a friend with a car and say: I need to go to X.
Ok thanks. I appreciate the help. Now what paperwork am I supposed to print and bring? Just the stuff from the equifax tax thing? Is there any housing paperwork that I need to print?
From what I've been reading you shouldn't bring anything expensive because it might get stolen. Don't bring too many clothes because you'll barely wear them and/or you'll end up going shopping down there anyway. Don't bring anything too big because apparently the dorms are little. That list at the top REALLY helped with telling you what to bring.
