need some suggestions from C.P alumuni

hello everyone here seems to be very knowledgeable. soo I'm planning a trip to go to CP August 6th. I am driving from Garfield Hts., Ohio. Not sure what is the fastest way to get there avoiding as much traffiic as possible. I've researched a lot of sites and people write about a back way certain gates that are easier to get into better parking and strategies on how to get on the best rides with little wait. I really want to ride MF, maverick, TTD, Skyhawk, wicked twister and powertower. I dont have a 2-day pass so want to hit up as many rollercoaster I can in 1 day.

Mavericks wait is the least right before the park closes. Milleniun in the morning. An alternitive would ne Magnum-xl-200 if you don't have time toride it(i think Magnum is alot better than Millenium, why wait 2hours when you can wait 20 min.).Skyhawks line is short at opening or about 30min before the park closes. I wouldn't waste my time with Wicked twister but at night it is pretty short. TTD wait is also short in the morning. I suggest to park in the Soak City parking lot. You will have all of the crowded waits out first.

I enjoy hitting the Raptor first thing in the morning! Most people are rushing toward Millie and the Maverick. The past few times I 've been there, I have walked on the Raptor 3 times or more before the crowds at 10:0. Then I head toward the Iron Dragon and the Maverick! I make sure I hit the Maverick before the rush!

Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs

I agree with most of the strategy here. I've found the crowd tends to start at the front, more heavily gravitating toward the rides on the right side of the park, and working their way back, so going to the back parking lot (where Soak City, Magnum, and Challenge Park are located) is the best way to get a head start on the lines for TTD, MF, and Maverick. Thursdays are a bit slower generally (but not always, so don't rely on that, there are always freak crowds that no one can explain, they just happen), which means during peak hours you shouldn't have to wait more than 2 hours for the most popular rides, especially TTD, which seems to have the longest wait time, at least in my experience. I have had some amazing luck on weeknights, and right before closing, while waiting for the Maverick line to clear out for the ERT to start (I have the Platinum season pass this year, and cannot recommend it enough),I got to ride Skyhawk consecutively seven times in a row! This was not a passholder feature, this was a general admission treat, so it may be one for you to enjoy as well. I hope you have as wonderful of an experience as all of mine have been this year, have fun!

Thanks to all that answered 3 more days I'm getting excited !!!!
