Need some help...

I'm running into a problem trying to get re-hired this year.
Last year I had some problems. I did setup, and due to the weather I got sick a few times and missed a few days. This was before the on Point docs were there and I have no insurance so I had to take that on the chin.
Also, due to my father being sick (he has Hepatitis C), I had to leave park early and did not finish out my contract.
Apparently due to all of this the Games Dept. put a "conditional rehire" stipulation on me, and it seems to be really hurting me trying to find work there.
Anyhow I'm looking for another chance (I don't wanna do ride op or foods, other than waiter). Anyone have any suggestions how I go about doing that?
Here is my two cents. Write a letter to HR (Katja or Amanda) and explain your situation. Don't whine about it, just give them the facts. Though your "conditional" designation probably won't change they might be able to let a manager in another department know what happened.

I am not saying that it is going to work. I am just saying it is worth a shot. Put your previoius manager in Games on copy and send it over there too. Again, don't come off as accusatory or whiney, just apologize and explain your interest in returning.

It is worth a shot.

I left last year early, and without warning(bad matt!) I was a conditional re-hire, but I did a pretty good job apparently, and they gave me the re-hire right away. Write to HR, I think that's a good idea, and it does influence them if you are passionate enough about working there to take the few extra steps.

Yeah, I'm thinking an email would be a lot quicker. I'd like to get in to do setup.
Agreed. But, there's another fact to consider: Average time it takes to recieve an email: 2 seconds, average time to recieve snail mail: 3-4 days.
I'm thinking about calling HR on Monday and seeing if HR can help me out, but I got an email from Challenge Park the other day, and I'll talk to them see if they're interested in a games reject :-D
*Hee hee!* I didn't read the "e" part of "e-mail." That's what happens when you're doing GTTP and three other things at the same time... Good luck, GamesDork. Hope you get the answer you're looking for!

No problem, Lee. My brain's been fried lately from both playing phonetag with CP and working on my website. Can't blame ya.

If you still want the e-mail for HR its just work@cedarpoint.com Like ChodaBoy20 said, try and contact John Wolshuck and if you cant get ahold of him then try Ryan Burt at Challenge Park.

If I dont get out of here and find me a sweet bus station skank, I might do something disgusting that I might really regret!

Well, a friend of mine told me to call a silver tag she knew and explain to her my situation, which I did, and I got myself a job. Thanks for the help, guys.
