Need opinion on two selected dates to attend!

Me & my wife our planning our 1st trip to CP (driving from TN, 8hrs) and are staying on property at Breakers. We are debating on the dates for hopefully the least busy days. I know it is hit or miss but any opinions would be greatly appreciated to settly our debate. She wants to go on May 22nd & 23rd (Sun/Mon) reasoning that she doesn't think Sunday will be that crowded because its still early in the season and before Memorial Day versus I would like to drive up on Sunday and go the CP on May 23rd & 24th (Mon/Tues) during the week(We did decide to push our trip back a week to avoid possible field trips for Math & Science Week). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

That is a hard call to make. May 23 is Victoria Day, a Canadian holiday. You will get extra busses of high school students coming down from many schools from Windsor to London (on top of the schools already coming from Michigan and Ohio). No matter what week days in May are going to be filled with students on school trips. That has just been a growing trend the last few years since they started opening a couple of weeks later than in the past. Sorry I can't give better advice but crowd predictions for May have been hard to give the last few years. Just expect it to be busy, then if it isn't you can be pleasantly surprised.

Some friends and I will be there May 19, 20...hoping math and science week keeps them busy. With these field trips, does anyone know if those buses leave early or do they usually stay til closing?

I've found they usually leave an hour or two early.

My crystal ball is broken, but in its absence my gut instinct tells me that the Sunday of that week will probably actually be a little less busy than the Monday -- especially with Vince's information that that Monday is Victoria Day.

Ok thanks for the response, think we are going to do Sunday/Monday. Hopefully Sunday wont be as busy in the park to get alot rides so we will just have to keep our fingers crossed.

With only 2 weeks away the weather is starting to worry now, I checked today and it was in the mid 40's. I surely hope it warms up soon! lol
