Need for fast lane?

Wondering what a typical wait time for something like Maverick or MF or TTD is in the middle of the day on a Monday the week of June 17th.'
Everyone keeps talking about knowing when to go if you are a regular. Well this is a one shot deal for my Daughter and myself, and I have to go when we can go.
Wondering if it is worth the 50 bucks for the first day for a fast lane pass, or wait to see how the first day goes and then maybe buy one for second day?
Thoughts?

I would wait. I don't think it will be too crowded on a Monday. if it is you can still get Fast Pass bit later in the day.

Some of the FP rides really don't have long lines anyway. Troika for instance. Blue Streak has no line in the evening, just two examples.

If your going to be there more than one day then i wouldn't waste the money. I would expect to wait at least an hour for the big 3 (Maverick, MF and Dragster). Get into the park early and hit those 3 rides first then spend the rest of your day getting to the others.

GO IRISH!!

I agree with Steve. Another thing, after you hit the big 3, MF, TTD and then Maverick, stay in Frontier Town and ride those rides before working you way to the front of the park. That back section in empty early in the day. Most people come in the front and ride Raptor and Blue Streak because they are first. You want to reverse the order. Raptor is another coaster with a short line the last few hour of the day.

Im at the breakers so early entry was planned for the big 3. Thanks everyone!

So much the better. Dragster is not early entry. Enter at the resort gate and go to Maverick first, then MF, then maybe Iron Dragon. After that, head to Dragster and get in line before the 10AM park opening. Next, head back to Frontier Town, hitting Magnum and Gemini along the way. Gemini often only runs one color train early in the day. The line will be short. Later in the day with a longer line they race red and blue.

That's always my plan, minus iron dragon, but be prepared for the possibility of maverick or MF not being ready to go when you get to the ride. It can be frustrating at times.

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

Iron dragon is just gravy if there is some extra time since it only takes 5 minutes and is on the way ro Millie to Dragster.
