National Geographic Show

Towards the begining of testing they were launching at full power and it wasn't clearing the hill.

Yeah new year, and finally got my license, well back in august. Im in need of a trip to the park.

That's because the Intamin engineers miscalculated how much power would be needed to clear the hill. And it WASN'T launching at full power, they were just launching at their expected necessary launch power.

They made it seem like this was a new idea and gave no credit to Cedar Fair for getting the first one. (Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm). Also, that it was the first to clear 400 (or at least, far from any other coaster in the world.) Hello, what ever happened to Dragster.

National Geographic spent a week at the park this year filming 4 different rides for a special in HD that will air next summer sometime. They would have done 5 coasters, but Dragster was down.

Which 4 rides? I'm guessing its "rides" instead of "coasters" because they got footage of maXair as well as coasters.
