Ugh!!! Why does everyone care about the color of the ride!! It could be all white for all I care, as long as it's a good ride.

I was refering to Rider's post about it being a "sequal" to DT. To follow tradition, it would probable be enclosed, and a 400ft. building would be pretty strange looking. I was just kidding BTW.

I think a patriotic theme would be disgustingly crass, especially if they used it to GET more media coverage.

Agreed. All the media coverage on Sept. 11 this year really was using 9|11 to boost their own ratings. Anything, coaster related or not, that uses such a tragedy to boost their image should be shot, killed, and shot again for good measure.

What would you say if I told you I met my Homecoming date at Cedar Point?

I am not sure what to think, but really, a patriotic theme would make some sense. I may be going way out on a stretch that CP is starting to think about theming for the park as a whole, so an "American" area could be sprouting up. I know that sounds far-fetched because the lack of theming in the past, and that Magnum is rather close in proximity which is supposed to be "themed" as a space shuttle. As far as a name, American Scream sounds like a good idea for an "American" theme idea.

Now I will really put a twist on something, if the name will not have anything to do with patriotism, I think the name "Speed Demon" would be sort of cool.
