Mystery Solved?

I've been doin a bit of reseach based on the company that CP seems to have been doin their previous business with at ww.rcstengel.com. Based on the track pieces and other rides this company has made, it appears it will be something similar to TTD on a smaller basis. Other rides that are in existance are Superman Escape in Australia www.movieworld.com.au and Speed Monster www.tusenfryd.no . They seem kinda lame and not much of record breakers but I guess CP needs somethin new other then these crappy rides they've been installing. Hopefully I'm wrong and it will be really good!! Any thoughts on when the press release will be?

Yes.. doing something else with a hydraulic launch design.. like breaking records! That would be a GREAT selling point!!

What one of their rides are crappy? maXair and Skyhawk have become favorites of mine and don't get me started on TTD.

You forgot the inversions, track length, ride time, air time, most colors used on a rollercoaster train, most seats per train, most cars per train, most times the coaster turns left, and the most switchbacks in the queue lines records. I'm sure there's about eleventy million I've skipped though too.

Recently I've thought to myself what I like about most of the rides at CP and I came up with many of them hitting that "FUN" factor which makes them enjoyable and downright fun. This "FUN" factor can be a prime example of what you get on classic rides such as: Gemini, Blue Streak, WildCat, Demon Drop, Tilt-a-Whirl, Scrambler, and many others I can't think of right now.

To sum this up, I'm hoping Project 2007 has the "FUN" factor instead of a ride solely built to be a record breaker. You do have a point where you can have the best of both worlds as well, but I'll leave that to CP/Intamin's design team!

Maybe someone should suggest to Walt or Jeff that it wouldn't be a bad idea to make an IQ test mandatory before being allowed to join this site.

Maybe we all should just stop guessing and try to wait it out. With every day the ideas are getting less possible and they are just making people upset...

The anticipation is half the fun.

The anticipation of a legitimate ride... not some of the crap that's been getting spewed. That's not to offend anyone in particular or any discussion in particular that's been going on, but wow... some of the stuff that's been going around is just mindboggling.
