Me and my dad left our house around 12:35pm here in Cincinnati. Got the Breakers Exprees around 4:40pm. Got our Starlight tickets and headed to the park. As we got to the parking tolls booths, I noticed that there was a sign saying"Top Thrill Dragster will not open today" (damn :()
Then when get entered the park we hit Raptor first. It was 40 degree's out, very chilly. Then hit Wicked Twister, very nice ride in the back. MaxAir had a long line so we waited till Tuesday. We headed over the Magnum, had a good ride in the 2 seat of the first car. Say Gemini going so headed over there. We had a great neck an neck race. Then went over the Mean Streak, it was closed. So then headed over the Millennium Force, had a 20 to 35 min wait. We got off it and rode Mantis. After that went over to Iron Dragon. My feet were a little tierd, We sat down and bough an Pepsi and Mountain Dew Code Red. Very refreshing, but still very cold. After the drinks we headed to Power Tower. We still had time left so we rode Millennium Force one last time before heading to Famous Dave's, I orded the Rip Tips with Dave's famous Fries, beans, and corn on the cob. MMMMMM very nice, My dad had one of there Famous burgers.
Day 2, Got to the park at 9:10am to get in with our resort passes, got in at 9:30 and headed to raptor,(the sign in the hotel said the rides open this morning for the ERT were Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster) ? It was Millennium and Raptor. We got on raptor in the front seat,(our first time) the view was alsome, maybe one of my best rides ever. May dad could take raptor agian so we went down to Millennium, had a 15 min wait. By the time we got off it the park had open so we got on Manits.
I don't know if this has happen to anyone but, On Mantis after the first loop going down my vision got blurry. Like when your seating down for a long time then stand up really fast. It happen to my dad to, he said that it felt like we almost got to the stage's of passing out, from blood leaving our heads and rushing down to our legs. Werid
We did are normal around, around the park, the major rides. When we got on maXair I was so impressed with how it was so good. Seeing raptor and the bay along with the lake, upside down. During miday, we got on the Paddle boat ride that goes around the logon. It was neat going under Millennium in the paddal boat. When our Capt, "Capt. Kate" was saying stuff about Millennium We noticed that the red train was stop about half way up the hill. Weird, it went up and finished it's ride about 20 mins later. After a long day we finished up with a last ride on Magnum(In the back). Millennium didn't open back up,and Top Thrill didn't open up ether. I got a MF t-shirt, my dad got a Cp t-shirt. That was my trip. *** Edited 5/19/2005 12:33:41 AM UTC by daniel smith***

yea when i went this year...i felt that way on raptor, mantis, and millie---weird thing...the guy i was riding with felt the same way at the same spot each ride...kinda nuts
I was also there on the 16th. At one point right around noon, we stopped at Twister, Mean Streak, MF, Wild Cat and were all down in succession. Of course Dragster was down all day. Not complaining, i got my ride on Maggie 1-2, so all was right in the world that day. In all the years of going to CP (in excess of 20) i had never seen such an off day for coasters, but i imagine it happens more often than i would think.
I can say that i was suprised at the crowd. I thought that maybe the big school outings would be a little bit later in the month.
I also stayed at the Breaker's Express. We were given a card to get into the park early, and also a card for the windsheild so that parking was free. The package is really a great deal.
I was on that red train stuck up there - let me tell you, it was stuck a lot longer than 20 minutes!

We stayed at Breakers Express, and let me say, the card helped a lot (considering we swung around Perimeter Road, got in the SC entrance with early entrance, and got the first ride of the day on TTD (one of the only ones, in fact... ) :)
