I guess I can start on a positive note and say I got lucky on Sunday morning and got a ride on TTD (11am). By early afternoon, the ride went down and stayed down for the rest of my stay.
I had come down with a group of 7 people for Sunday, but ended up having one person hang by my side the whole day and we pretty much covered the whole park. It was her first time rider on MaXair and she loved it. Later that day, a few other group members rode MF for their first time with our freeway stamps and they loved it (and voted it their favorite coaster at CP).
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I enjoyed the park at my leisure. Weather cooperated and I came home with yet another sunburn (opps!). I am finding out, the more I ride MaXair, the more I like it. Got a freaky ride on it on Tuesday when the girl next to me told me she was going to puke (and the ride hadn't even started yet). I told her to either swallow it or puke down her shirt cause I didn't want to wear it. We get swinging and she is going "oh my God, oh my God I am going to be sick", so I keep yelling at her, "BREATHE, BREATHE". We made it through the ride and when she got off she thanked me cause she thought she was going to be sick but took deep breaths and it passed. I told her "THANK YOU for not getting sick!"
Ate at Chet and Matts for the first time ever Monday night, wasnt too bad.. The next night (Tuesday) I went bowling and kicked this guys butt badly (one game I shot a 223 to his 109). Then met some new friends with Tony and had a blast! I dont think any of us wanted to ever leave, but fatigue got the best of us and we parted.
By Wednesday I was just enjoying the views of the park, hit a few rides with another friend and left by 4.
Had a great stay at Maples Motel as always and my group had enjoyed their stay as well. Saw some full timers I knew and some seasonals that I loved seeing back. It was cool to see someone there with a Silver Bullet t-shirt. I told him that I liked his shirt and he said that he liked my coat! Too cool!
