My son wanted to share this with you! ::smile:: :
I am Keith and I am 10 years old. My first roller coaster was the Iron Dragon. My second roller coaster was the Magnum XL200. My third roller coaster was the Wild Cat. What roller coaster do you think I should do next? I want to start out smaller.
When I was seven and rode the Magnum it was because I thought the lift hill took too long to get up. When my mom said "Either walk through, or sit down and buckle up." I decided to sit down and buckle up. It was kinda scary. Now I don't know which roller coaster to ride next because that one was pretty big.
Keith,
You're pretty brave to ride Magnum! How about giving the Mine Ride a spin? That used to be my favorite when I was your age. After that, maybe go for Gemini. It's only about half as tall as Magnum, and it's a lot of fun because you race the other train! When you are ready to go upside down, Corkscrew would be a great ride to start out on. It's fun, but you go upside down only three times, so you can get used to that feeling.

Keith: Thanks a lot for your replies. I'm not going to lay a finger on the MF. I might try the Mine Ride I guess, and the corkscrew. Gemini will be like in 10 years. Blue streak, probably like 2 years. I already rode DT.
Hi Keith!
My 11-year old daughter, Grace, gets butterflies whenever we go on the bigger coasters. She likes when I count out loud as we reach the crest of the hill. She knows now that we'll be down before I get to "5" Last year she wanted to try the Magnum, and REALLY wanted a picture. The first time she hated the picture, because she look terrified. The second time we looked the wrong way. The third time we planned to blow bubbles with our gum. Her thirteen-year old sister's bubble was awesome. Grace, however, just looks like she's sticking out her tongue. You can see the photos in our yahoo album. http://photos.yahoo.com/imtowanda Just click on the Cedar Point album.
Our son, James, (now 8) is a little dare devil who can't wait to ride MF. He was mad yesterday because he's not tall enough for WT. He tried switching shoes with an older friend, so he'd be taller. I asked the attendant to explain why they have height rules. (He had him try to sit in the seat, so he'd see that he could slide right under. That convinced him that it's dangerous.)
Grace loves Iron Dragon and the Mine Ride, as well as Disaster Transport.. She also really likes Corkscrew. I recommned you ride them a lot, and soon you'll get used to the feeling, and then you'll want a bigger thrill. Before you know it, you'll be ready for Millennium. We'll meet you there!
