I woke up at the picutre perfect hour of 3:30 in order to get there.....wow, that was early. Luckily i wasnt driving, and so i slept most of the way there (i live about 5 hours away).
When we arrived, we scoped out our hotel (econolodge!) and proceded to enter, park, and just prepar for a good old time. Ther rest of my family arent coaster riders, so i went off to the marina gate on my own to catch the moring MF ride. Rushing in was great....though i must be really out of shape, becasue i was really out of breath by the time i reached MF. I waited about 10/15 minutes, for a great ride. i caught up with my borhter, who now decided he wanted to ride some coasters (i guess MF made him a bit nervous) We went back, and rode Gemini, CCMR, and Magnum, all in about an hour. All the while i was getting coments from people on my most stylin' vintage iron dragon shirt.
Suffice to say, i think the iron dragon crew was pretty amazed by my shirt.....alot of "wow" and "i havent seen one of those in years!".
Rode mantis with a 1:15 wait....still worth it, i love it. Then got in line for MF at about 8:45. that seemed like the wait lasted forever...i stood next to some cool people, though. Except for one guy, who i bumped into twice and he started getting a tad preturbed. The night ride was most extreme.....it just blew me away. And even with that, i still managed to get to the front of the park to ride Raptor for the final ride of the day and the season. I then went and did my customary putting my feet in the waterball, and then i was off, another great season at the point complete. A great year for my first year as a season pass holder.....

**Everything We Do Is Music**
Isn't the "Running of the Bulls" just the best? In my ONE tip for a newcomer I said - Marina Gate, and get in shape before you 'Get to the PO!NT'. We did the running during the heat wave (high 80s by 9:30) we were huffing and puffing as we went through the queue.
Maybe I should know (or don't want to know :) ) but what is the "customary putting my feet in the waterball"?
