My June 11 Trip

Hey everyone i just thought id tell you about my trip to CP Yesterday. I didnt get there till about 12 because i left at about 9. My friend and i walked in and couldn't believe all the people that were there on a monday. We checked Raptor but it was at least an hour. Then we made our way over to MF but it was almost 2 hrs. So we walked to the back of the park and were extremely hot so we decided to just jump on Mine Ride just to cool off a little bit. After that we went over to Gemini and waited maybe 5 mins. We walked down to Magnum and saw that it was only about a 20 min wait so we waited for that. Had a good ride on Magnum but after that we made our way to Mean Streak. Mean Streak had about a 25 min wait but when we got to the station had to wait at least another 15 b/c someone threw up on the yellow car. Pretty good ride on Mean streak but i wish they would take the trim brakes off the first hill. After MS we couldn't take the heat so we went into coasters to cool off a little bit and get a bite to eat. After we ate, we made our way over to MF. We waited about an hour and 15 mins but its always worth it on MF. We rode back of train and put our hands up the whole way. After MF we wanted to get out of the heat so we thought we would ride DT just to get in the AC but they didn't have it on for the first couple rooms. Pretty boring on DT as usual but oh well but after that we made our way over to Mantis and we waited about an hour for that. Good ride on there but they only had 2 trains running. Does anyone know whats wrong w/ the 3rd train or did they just not run it?? After Mantis we started to walk down to Raptor but jumped on Wild Cat and Iron Dragon real quick just for the heck of it. After that we went to Raptor and it was only about a 25 min wait so that was good. I always have loved Raptor and it didn't disappoint me. After that we hopped on blue streak just to ride it and went up to see Power Tower. We hopped on Corkscrew which was basically no wait and after that we went to Power Tower. The line for up was only about 10 mins so we got on there then went back in line to get shot down which was about a 15 min wait. I saw someone w/ a GTTP shirt but i didn't know who it was though. After Power Tower we got some food and then hopped on Magnum one more time and then headed for the gates. It was a pretty good day all in all but pretty crowded and it was extremely hot but a hot day at CP is better than anywhere on earth. Talk to you guys later. Bye

About the 3rd Banshee train. I was told it is due to the intervals. With 3 trains,they are always stacked and doesn't increase the capacity. Seatbelts are one issue,but it's the guests. Most people get in and want to sit down. So,ride-ops have to adjust those up and then have others with feet not touching floor.So they have to adjust them down. Very time consuming. But still not as long as loading process of King Cobra at PKI. IT ROYALLY SUCKS!!

Was rumored last year that they were thinking of trying a seperate unload station like MF to maybe speed things up. I know it will require more ride-ops. But haven't heard lately if that will happen.
