My CP Fun/H-E-Double Hockey Sticks

Aight kids, this is my weekend, start to finish, filled with all the ups and downs.

To get it out of the way, Tiffin Track sends athletes to work at CP for a weekend to raise money for trips in the spring (California), thats why I was there. We were set up to work for food services for 14 hours Saturday and Sunday.

We got to CP Saturday, bout 3:00pm. I wanted to ride coasters before I got there, but didnt have the chance (wait till later ) I worked @ Fronter Inn, a pizza place back by Mean Streak. We worked from 3-10:30 solid, busy the WHOLE time. I made about 140 pizzas (estimated, I went thru 7 boxes which has about 20 crusts in each). At 10:30, we got a break (we closed @ 11, so it wasn't that good of a break) so me and my friend ran strait to Mean Streak and got in 2 rides.

At about 11, we closed shop, and cleaned up. By 11:10pm, we were off to the races. We ran STRAIT to Top Thrill Dragster and got in line. By 12:45, my girlfriend and I were the LAST train of the day, FRONT seat, and roared to 120mph and 420ft in the sky. It was a beautiful cap to an otherwise dismal day.

We finally got back to the CP dorms around 1:10am, and let me say... they are horrible. They were made for less then a week housing, so they were a little less then standard. I hadn't eaten ANYTHING all day, so I rushed over to this store. $10 later, I was full and ready for bed... sadly no1 else was feeling the same. We finally went to bed at 3:30am.

Wanting to ride some rides, 5 of us got up @ 9:45am and headed over to CP Sunday morning. We had check in at 11:30, and there were NO lines, so we managed to hit up Millenium Force, Mantis, Raptor, and Magnum XL-200. Great start to a great day, but then work started. The Chuck Wagon was my next hellhole. Cleaned pans ALL day, made food, and got SOAKED!!! Worked from 12pm-7pm pretty solid.

Then, we resumed the fun Sadly, Dragster was down, so we headed for Millenium Force again. Then we headed for CarnEVIL for some scary stuff. (I have fingernail marks in my arm... lol) Hit up Raptor again, MaXair, Blue Streak, and Demon Drop to round out my day. 10pm, Late Sunday night, with little to no sleep, and legs so sore I could die, we all headed home. We got home around 11:45pm. Now, I'm happy to say, im going to bed.
