Ok im gonna be working as a Ride Op this whole summer and currently live near lansing michigan so its a 3 and a half hour drive to get down there. Are employees able to store their cars somewhere if they come from along ways like me? I cannot find any information on this and would really appreciate it if someone had an answer.
Wait for someone else to confirm, but I believe the answer is yes; although space may be limited.

It's no big deal to have a car. In fact, you'l probably make more friends and be greatful for escape off point.

I have a couple questions? First: how hard is it to get a job at cedarpoint. Second if your seventeen when you graduate will you be able to have a dorm room from cedarpoint or even be able to get a job.

Well it's not exactly walk in the door and you're hired.

Yes, 18 or have graduated, and yes you could potentially get a job.

I don’t blame ya;)
Yea gas prices are gonna suck even more I heard soon, there is no other way for me to get to CP so I gotta drive my car so I just gotta suck it up and keep hating Bush
bring your car... its SO WORTH IT!!! Okay, there is parking there, there is a little lot at the dorms and the EVC (anyone know what that stands for, i think its employee vehicle center or control or something) lot across the street. There is a pedestrian bridge to it you've probably driven under it dozens of times.
but you want your car. Unless you want your life to revolve arround blue thunder and the crappy bus schedule. I would never EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go back to cp without my car. Sorry did i forget to say NEVER EVER? yeah, I know i'm repeating myself, but I didn't have my car for one week and I was MISERABLE. bring your car.

EVC stands for Employee Visitation Center. It is on the door to the building next to the EVC lot. That building would be the Employee Visitation Center. I think at one point in time, it had a purpose other then what it is used for now. The name just stuck. If someone that has some history of employment here, they might know what it was used for.
Lieber, I know how you feel. Even with $3 gas, I was THANKFUL to have my ride. One week, my car crapped out after Labor Day. Nedless to say, I HATED IT!

Having a car is definitely a plus...
You will be asked for rides on multiple occasions...
And there are always those lovely parking ban days...
But overall, you will appreciate the freedom of being able to get off point and get into town when you need to.

That's true. Plus, you can have people kick in for gas and make a little "extra," if you know what i mean...

Those were not fun, at all... My boyfriend lived in Sandusky last summer and I made him drop me off/pick me up on those days though so it wasn't that bad for me... lol
